The demons continued to run Pyro stopped them as he saw Vash walking through a pair of metal double doors.
“You guys go on I’ve got this guy.” Gerard said.
“I'm going with you.” Frank said.
“No, go with the others.” Gerard demanded.
“That bastard took my sister, if there’s any hope of me finding her then I'm going with you.” Frank said.
“Fine.” Gerard sighed. “You guys go on, we'll meet you outside when this is all over.”
“Okay.” Mikey nodded running off with Pyro, Ray, Louie and Jacob.
“Be safe Frankie.” Arachna said softly kissing him on the lips.
“'Safe'?” Frank asked. “I don't even know the meaning of the word.” He smirked as he and Gerard ran through the door where Vash went.
“Didn't get enough of me back there did you?” Pyrissa asked circling Sphinx who lay breathlessly on the floor. “Your weak. Your pathetic Mikey can't even save you now.” Sphinx growled and jumped up off the floor stabbing her claws under Pyrissa's jaw, she screamed in agony as the blades pierced her skin.
“Leave Mikey out of this you whore.” Sphinx spat forcing her blades in further causing Pyrissa to scream louder. “I don't know who you think you are, I was going to go easy on you, but as soon as you dragged Mikey into this, oh I'm going to enjoy this.” Sphinx twisted her blades around and cupped her fingers over Pyrissa's mouth. “Say 'ahh'.” She giggled as she ripped off Pyrissa's mouth. She screeched from the excruciating pain of her jaw being ripped off. Sphinx laughed at her torment and then sliced her blades through Pyrissa's chest then ripped out her heart. She fell to the floor covered in her own blood, Sphinx sighed and retracted her claws then threw Pyrissa's heart on the floor. She took a deep breath admiring her work, she smiled to herself and then ran out of the room to find everyone else.
Gerard and Frank slammed the door behind them as they approached Vash, the tall man turned to face them.
“Don't be a fool boys, you'll never defeat me.” He smirked.
“Wanna bet?” Frank spat. “Now where's my sister?” He asked. A loud irritation giggle filled the room.
“The two shorties don't know their related, how cute.” Mara cackled, the boys looked up to see her sitting on the stone bannister, she dived down from the top and landed gracefully on the floor.
“What are you talking about?” Frank asked. Mara's cackle echoed throughout the whole room.
“My oh my, you really are as stupid as you look.” Vash smirked. Frank’s eyes widened as he thought about Mara said.
“Sphinx.” He mumbled. “Sphinx is my sister?”
“Jeez Frank, you've known the girl for over five thousand years, you've seriously never seen it coming?” Mara asked. “I'm disappointed in you Frankie.” Frank’s eyes turned a bright red colour as fire surrounded his tightly clenched fists.
“Frank, calm down.” Gerard said slowly. Frank yet out a loud yell as the fire flew forward and wrapped itself around Mara, she screamed in pain as the fire burned her skin. Vash flew forward forcing Frank to the floor, the fire around him faded away as Vash tightened his grip on him. He pulled out a sharp dagger and placed it to Frank’s throat.
“Goodbye, you piece of scum.” Vash spat. Gerard jumped on Vash's back and ripped the dagger out of his hand, Vash turned around but before he could do anything Gerard slashed the blade across his throat. He let out a loud scream as his body vaporised into thin air.
“You okay dude?” Gerard asked helping Frank up. He looked back to see Mara had escaped.
“Yeah.” Frank smiled. “I'm... I'm more than okay.” He grinned. “She's alive Gee, my sister is alive, and I’ve known her all my life. Come on Gee, I have to find her.” Frank laughed running out the room, Gerard placed the dagger into the inside of his coat pocket and ran after him.
