Forgiveness Is Not For Sale (Part 7)

Mikey's eyes fluttered open as the sound of wings flapping woke him up. He shot up to see the space beside him was empty, he looked up at the window seeing the black drapes softly flowing as the open window let in the cool night breeze. He walked up to the window looking out over the darkened forest. He sighed and closed the window then walked out of the room, he made his way down the stairs but stopped as he reached the bottom, he heard voices whispering to each other, he opened the door slightly and peaked through the crack.
“I can't do this.” Arachna whispered. “If we leave this any longer they're gonna find out anyway.”
“Didn't you listen to anything Mara said?” Pyrissa hissed. “She'll have us annihilated.”
“But I don't want this.” Arachna said. “I don't care what Mara is offering us, I can't hurt the guys like that.”
“Then that only proves June was right about you.” Pyrissa spat. “You are weak and not to mention pathetic.”
“What?”
“I see the way you look at Frank and I think it's disgusting.”
“So is what you did to Mikey.” Arachna fired back. “You completely ruined that guy and now look at you, your doing the same to Gerard, just what exactly are you trying to prove? That your a complete and utter bitch? Yes we all know that.”
“Don't you dare speak to me like that sis!” Pyrissa shouted. “This is the future Arachna, either your with me or your not. It's us or them pick a side.” Arachna sighed and got up from the sofa then ran out of the cottage. Pyrissa chuckled a little and then vanished. Mikey blinked a couple of times and was about to walk into the empty room until a bladed hand clamped around his mouth, he tried to scream but disappeared along with the person who held onto him. Mikey was thrown onto a large rock, he shrieked as he almost fell over the edge, the cliff stood high from ground surrounded by a lime green coloured acid that could kill any living being. He turned back around to see Pyrissa staring at him her emerald coloured hair blowing in the wind.
“I know you heard me Mikey.” She grinned. “I felt it.”
“What do you want?” He asked.
“You know too much to be kept alive.” She said walking closer to him.
“Please Pyrissa don't!” Mikey shouted. She giggled and sank the heal of her boot into Mikey's chest, he let out a loud cry of pain as he felt the sharp object cut through his skin. Pyrissa's long metallic blades extended from her fingers, Mikey whimpered as she knelt down next to him stroking the blades across his face, he let out a faint cry the tip of the blades cut his smooth flesh.
“Such a waste.” Pyrissa tutted, she tilted Mikey's head to the side so she got a clear target of his throat. “Which would you prefer; acid or blade?” She asked. Mikey took in a deep breath and turned to face Pyrissa, he kicked Pyrissa's boot off his stomach whacked her bladed hand into her stomach, she gasped as her own blades pierced her skin.
“How about I make you stab yourself then push you into the acid myself?” Mikey spat kicking her in the ribs, she grunted as she slipped off the edge. Mikey took in a deep breath and looked down at his stomach, the puncture mark started to heal but the hole in his top still remained. “My favourite shirt as well.” He mumbled. The sound of wings flapping made him turn around. “Sphinx!” He shouted running up to her. Her large black wings wrapped him like a warm blanket.
“Mikey are you doing here?” She asked sounding worried. “I've been looking everywhere for you.”
“Sphinx, it's Pyrissa she-” But before Mikey could finish his sentence Pyrissa's long sharp blades curled over the edge of the building. He turned around to see her climb up onto the top then ripped her blades out of her stomach.
“You'll pay for that freak!” She growled. Sphinx grabbed hold of Mikey and pulled him behind her, she hissed at Pyrissa reviling her sharp fangs.
“If you want him you'll have to go through me first.” She spat.
“Bring it bitch.” Pyrissa smirked.
“Oh I was so hoping you would say that.” Sphinx grinned as long, sharp blades extended from her fingers.
