"I never want to be COOL"-Gerard Way

This is by far the most thought-of blog post of mine, so if you have time, you may read it...thanks!:)
Hola everyone!
 
We were out to eat dinner at KFC (hell yeah!), as we finish our meal (of course with my family; term break) these kids came in the fast food chain like they are some kinda 'the boss'. You know what I mean? It's really different. It's not confidence; it was arrogance.
 
I really think that I am being rude for posting this about them. And I do believe that in every person's heart lies some kindness. But, to act like that in a public place is more rude. 
 
Being COOL nowadays is a bit overrated that it becomes the NORM in every society. Almost every kid out there wanted to be cool for the sake of fame and popularity. What happened to wanting to be cool because you are you? Or being cool for letting your creative juices flow? Or being cool for letting you weird self stand out? Now, whenever I turn around this hometown of mine I see similar people. (Almost) Everyone dresses, acts, walks, and even thinks the same way. 
Why not try uniqueness once in a while people? you might like it? (Addressed to those that I've seen today)
 
I remember my mom telling me that she was so happy that I did not grow to be someone I'm not. And that really touched my heart. I am so proud and glad because my parents see me the way I see myself.
 
As I have always said, our own uniqueness is what makes us. The purpose is to show it to others. And touch lives along the way.
If you are weird in their eyes; be proud! Remember that being WEIRD is fun! Typical is boring.
 
I for one am uncertain of what I would be in the future; after this last semester and be able to graduate with a college degree.
One thing's for sure though:
I NEVER WANT TO BE COOL
