R.I.P Jordyn

A girl in my town killed herself yesterday. She hung herself at the park I used to live down the street from. Her name was Jordyn. If you live near me, you might have heard, and it's a tragedy. She was 13 years old and she went to another middle school in town. Some old friends of mine knew her, but I didn't, and I wish I had. I kind of feel like I could have done something because I'VE been there. I know I shouldn't be acting like it's partly my fault, because that's the worst thing to do after someone dies.
I'm kind of in shock because it opened my eyes; in a small community like mine, suicide is loud and heard at every corner. It stuns everyone. And then I got to thinking; what if I went through with it? Everyone said she didn't have many friends and got bullied a lot. And yet hundreds of people cried and prayed for her. I guess what I'm trying to say is, no matter how alone you feel, you're NOT. There are people that care about you even though they might not show it because they're going through their own thing. Just stay strong, and remember that the world is NOT better off without you. <3
