First off, I like them. I am a firm believer in words and the OED is like my Bible. I have just one problem with it, and that is that in this new dictionary, they've taken out 16,000 hyphens. As a firm believer in grammar, this is very hard to process. I do not believe I'll be getting it; I'll stay with my hyphen-inclusive compact OED of 1979.

On a happier, but weirder, note, I'm having such fun writing an essay of the differences between Johnson's dictionary of 1755 and the Collins dictionary of a few years ago, despite the fact that I actually dislike the Collins dictionaries...
