Still Cannot Come up with Title. (And Yes, That IS the Title) pt 12

I barely slept. That was probably the worst thing I could do, considering the plan I had to tell Toxic and Pain. We are leaving… again. Well, I’m leaving. Whoever wants to join me can. It’s unsafe here, They know where I am, they can get me whenever they want.
I walked out-no, stumbled out of Pain’s room (I’m sleeping on the mattress in there), when two hands caught me by my arms. “Careful there.” Toxic settled me.
I turned around to look at him, giggling a little before replying, “Sorry. Still half asleep, or awake, whichever way you put it.”
“Is Pain still sleeping?” He asked, leaning against the wall.
“I guess. It’s either that or she’s pretending. She hates waking up the same time I do, and I know why.” I smirked. “When Pain comes out, tell her to get ready and meet me in the diner. You gotta be there too. It’s important.” I said, seriously.
He nodded and I went to get changed. After I finished getting dressed, I waited for them, thinking of how I would tell them. This is going to be impossible.
They walked out next to each other and sat across from me, confused. I looked at them, maybe for the last time. “I’m leaving.” I stated, trying to keep a straight face. I waited for a response.
Finally, one tense minute later, I got one. “No you’re not.” Toxic answered.
“It’s too dangerous for me to be here! BL/ind is after me, and guess what? They will destroy ANYTHING in their way. That includes you two! I’m not letting anyone die for me again, even if it means saying goodbye!” I sprung up, on the verge of tears.
“You think we care? So what if BLI wants you so much! They want all the killjoys dead, you just a little more than the rest of us! You’re not leaving here. We’d miss you.” Toxic stood up in front of me.
“I care. You think that want you two dead? I don’t. I won't ever want that! I have to leave!” I yelled, having a few tears slip. I started to walk out of the diner when a hand grabbed my arm and turned me around.
“You leave, I leave.” Toxic whispered, close to my face.
Pain came up to us and grabbed my hand. “Me too.” She said.
That seemed to snap me and Toxic into the real world. I smiled and said, “We’re heading back to the motel. They wouldn’t think we’d return there, considering you hate that place.” I turned to Pain. I was sure she was gonna scream. Instead, she just crossed her arms. I smirked at her and ran out to get my motor bike ready. About five minutes later, they came out, ready to leave. “Jump on.” I told them. They did as they were told. The motel wasn’t that far away. The only thing that slowed us down were the Dracs who came after us. After a while, we started to hear extra motors. All of the sudden… WHIZ!
Laser shot passed my ear. I was literally an inch away from being deaf…and dead. I stopped the motor bike and got out my ray gun, quietly cursing. There were only five, easy enough number for us to take on. I always like to take off the masks to see who they were. After all of them were dead, I started to take off the masks. I gasped at two of them.
“What is it?” Toxic asked, trying to hid the concern in his voice.
“Nothing. It’s just that this is the guy who used to have a crush on me in middle school. Now he’s a Drac.” I turned away, walking away to another Drac. I heard a gunshot behind me. I turned around to see everything fine. Confused much? Not really. The next face made me wanna cry. This face was the face of one of my old friends. I had wondered what happened to her. Now I know. Her name was Destanee. Pretty huh? Toxic and Pain saw that I was about to cry. Pain backed up while Toxic came forward. He knelt down and hugged me softly.
“She was a friend, wasn’t she?” He asked quietly.
I nodded, afraid to speak. I softly cried into his shirt, making it beyond wet. We stayed like that for a while. I was too afraid to do much. Just remembering her hurt. We had to get out of the desert though. I stood up, eyes bloodshot, and walked over to my motorcycle. “Let’s go.” My voice quivered.
“You okay?” Pain asked me as I walked over to the bike.
“I’m fine.” I responded. Truth is, I was shattered. I didn’t even wanna talk. The rest of the day, I remained quiet.
