We'll Carry On

It's been a while since I've logged into my account here, but I certainly have something to say, and couldn't think of a better place to say it. I've been listening to My Chem since I was a sophomore in high school - for 8 years now. Eight fucking years these beautiful boys have been a part of my life. Shitty things have happened, shitty people have found their way in, people have left, and there were times when I want so badly to just give up...but through all of that I've had these guys to make it okay again.

Every single time I've needed inspiration or motivation, I've looked to My Chem. I wouldn't be where I'm at if it weren't for their music screaming in my ears or their message being pounded into my brain. I owe more than I could ever give to these boys, and I wish I could have gotten the chance to tell them that.

But, since I can't tell them in person, I'll tell them here:
Thank you for everything -and I mean everything- that you've done for me. You will never know just how much of an impact you have had on my life. I'm sad to see you go, but you've given me the courage to walk with my head up for the rest of my life. I'll miss you all fiercely, but your music will always be right by my side, inspiring me just as it has since I first began listening to you.

You've been a part of my life now for 8 years, 4 albums, countless tracks spinning through my head, 2 live shows, one 4 hour car ride, and 6+ hours spent standing in line through the freezing cold, the heat, and the rain. And every second was fucking worth it.

I'll be part of the MCRmy forever.
With all my little heart, thank you.
I fucking love you guys.

And as I always tell my loved ones, it's not goodbye, it's see you later.

Killjoys, remember to keep making your noise, because we're still fucking here!
