We arrived at the hospital and Gerard was immediately rushed to the emergency unit but me and my mom weren't allowed in and neither was anyone else. My mom left to go get coffee for me and her so I was on my own, so I took that opportunity to think about things, like Gerard, Ivy and the jocks. I had no clue what I was going to do about any of them, especially Ivy. Just then Ivy, Frank and Ray appeared from the top of the hallway and they saw me and immediately ran down towards me. Ivy was the first down and she hugged me tightly.
"How is he?" She asked
"He's not so good" I said as Ray and Frank just caught up with Ivy.
"At least he had a small pulse before he went in" She said
"Yeah at least" I said
"So how are you?" Frank butted in
"I'm okay confused and shit like that" I said as my mom handed me a coffee
"And we dont have one?!" Ray said in shock
"Well you weren't here" I said and stuck my tongue out at him
"Oh well coming to her one Frank?" He asked
"Yeah" Frank replied
"Get me one too!" Ivy called after them
"Yeah sure" Ray called back and they disappeared
"I didn't know you liked coffee" I said to her
"You kidding me? I love it!" She said happily
"Me too, I never go a day without it" I said
"Me either!" she said loudly, wow this girl was perfect.
My mom came out of the cafeteria and sat down beside me,
"So Mikey who's your friend?" She asked me
"Hello, I'm Ivy and you must be Mrs. Way?" She's said
"Yes I am and nice to meet you Ivy" She said shaking Ivys hand.
Ray and Frank appeared from the hallway with four cups of coffee
"Hey!" They both shouted
"Sorry we took so long, the queue was giant!" Frank said sounding angry
"Yeah, wasnt half" Ray agreed and handed me and Ivy our coffee.
I had drank most of my coffee by the time Ivy had only took a coffee of sips out of it.
"Welcome to a new kind of tension all across the alien nation where everything isn't meant to be okay" Came from my pocket
"Who is it?" Frank asked looking over my shoulder at my phone screen
"Sofia" I said
"Hey"
"Hey Mikey how's Gerard?" She asked
"He's not so good isn't coming around to anything" I said
"Oh god well I'll come down tomorrow to see if he's any better" She's said
"Okay but we need to go to school tomorrow" I said
"Yeah I know, I'll see you later" She said
"Okay bye" She replied then she hung up.
"So how is she about it?" Ivy asked
"Not so good she's coming down tomorrow" I said
"Aw okay well I need to go" Ivy said
"Me too" Ray and Frank said at the same time
"Think I do too" I said
"Seeing as were in the same scheme wanna walk home?" Ivy aked as my mom had left a while ago
"Okay" I said and we headed out the door, we all went separate ways except me and Ivy obviously.
"So how are you? she asked
"Okay, really hope Gerard comes around" I said
"Yeah same" She said
"Ivy, I need to tell you something" I said, I was going to tell her what I felt even though we barley knew each other it felt like I had known her forever.
"Yeah Mikey" She said, I stopped walking and looked into he deep hazel eyes.
"I love you"
