painting over happiness,
like the stars cant ask any less.
inking over happiness,
forgive and giving in.
painting over happiness,
forget the valentine denies.
just a heart that cant take the paint
lying in the ink-sinking-faint.

im caught,
hang me higher.
heartstrings taut,
little liar.
paint the happiness,
inside of me,
red and black,
but never lightning white.
