Sssssooooo last night I had a band competition and Its where you have to play 3 concert songs and get judged by them.The highest score is a 1 and the lowest is a 5.We got on stage the lights went dark on the audiance and bright on us.I started sweating lol.It was our first song (wich is normally a march)and I played the bass drum.WE ROCKED IT! Next song I played snare.It was the hardest song for a percussionist out of the three. I didnt miss any of the measures like I normally do.WE ROCKED IT!!!! Third song.I played bass again....we hadnt practiced that one as much....We got through it though....So after our performance we watched other bands play.They were better than us considering they had 60 band members and we only had 38. We waited about 2 hours and our band director came up to us and said"Have you guys seen your score yet?!?!" We said no and he said....."YOU GUYS GOT A 2!!!!!!".....I was sooooooo excited...Our band isnt the best.We kinda suck.I was gonna bet we'd get a 4....so glad I didnt!!!! Lol..After that when we came home and I passed out on the couch in my band uniform and my mom posted this on my facebook wall. "Emylee, I was so proud of you tonight! You were awesome at your concert. Don't be so hard on yourself! I appreciate how hard you worked this year in 7th grade. I love how you can make me laugh and you are such a talented artist. Don't ever stop expressing yourself creatively! You make me one happy seib!! love ya ♥ " Thanks mom! Thanks Mr.Wood!(band director) And lastly Thanks people of MCR.You guys are the best...always making me smile with your weird and freakish posts :) You guys give me strength when I need it.And thats why we are Fabulous Killjoys!!!!
