I couldn't think of a title for this blog. Sorry!

I have a plenty of time to think on my drives to and from school, and I either keep it quiet, or I turn my radio up as loud as my ears can handle. Sometimes I sing along, where other times, I just listen to what the artists are saying (singing).

On my way home today, I was listening to "The World is Ugly." Now, I have listened to My Chemical Romance since I was in 5th or 6th grade (a little after Three Cheers came out), and I have always been able to feel what message the song is sending. However, this song, not only was I able to feel the message, but I was able to relate it to my life.

"I just wanted you to know that the world is ugly but, you're beautiful to me."

I can't get over that one line. I am assuming that this song resulted in "Summertime" on the Killjoy album, because I get the same reaction every time I hear it as well.

"If you stay, I would even wait all night...or until my heart explodes. How long until we find our way in the dark and out of harm? You can run away with me any time you want."

Both songs, with vocals and instruments so extreme, have lyrics that effortlessly give such a powerful meaning.

It may be difficult to understand but, if you have that one person in your life that, in a world full of darkness, make your days more colorful, these songs go above and beyond telling them how you feel.
