Oh crap.....

A while back, I told you guys that I was invited to be in a band as rhythm guitarist. I was stoked and blah blah blah. Well, I never actually played for them and now they want me to "show them my talent". So my first thought was "oh shit". I have only been playing for a few months, so I don't have much experience compared to the others. One guitarist has been playing for about two years and the other has been playing for FIVE years. I would be better but with school and orchestra, I haven't had time to practice my guitar. I don't know what to do now. I only know one song and I'm afraid it won't be good enough. They have two extra guitarist, they could get rid of me and they'd be okay. I have already gotten one of my best friends to become their bassist. I was looking forward to playing with her. I'd be so out of the loop! My friend who invited me and my best friend will probably telling me about the good times the band has had over the summer... without me. Maybe I'm just worrying about nothing. They did invite another guitarist without kicking me out, so that says something... right? They didn't turn their backs on me when they found a guitarist with five years of experience. They accepted me even though they knew I'd probably struggle. Or did they just assume I'll be pro at the guitar very soon because I have experience on another string instrument (violin)? Ugh!
So I have a question for you guys. Is "Monster" by Skillet a good song to play for them. It's the only complete song I know. It's easy, yes, but it kicks ass. Do you think they'll let me in officially if I play that song?
