POV- Hailey- I screamed. I didn’t know what was wrong with Blair, but maybe one of the guys did. I heard echoing footsteps enter the bathroom, normally I would beat up ant guy who tried to enter the girl’s room but this was a special case. Frank peeked around the corner, and his smile turned up-side-down. He seen I was crying. “Blair’s been poisoned!” I shouted. I didn’t know that for a fact, but given the symptoms it was a reasonable guess. The smell of Blair’s vomit entered my nose and made me walk over to the doorway. I hollered for the rest of the guys to come over. Mikey, Frank, and Gerard laid Blair on the corner by the sink and began cleaning all the vomit off of her. Ray called 911, and Richard cleaned up the mess of the floor from when Blair missed the toilet the first time. I was the lookout for the ambulance. The hospital was about 30 minutes away from the mall, but they arrived in less than 20. I guess that’s the luxury of having a siren. The paramedics needed another hand in the ambulance; we all pointed our fingers at Mikey. And before he could protest, the paramedics had him lifted into the back of the ambulance and on his way to the hospital with Blair. The rest of us jumped into our cars and sped down the highway after the ambulance. Even though I really loved my car I had to make Frank drive it, while I sat in the passage seat wiping my eyes and blowing my nose. Ray, Richard, and Gerard followed us in Gerard’s car. I swore that if they didn’t find out what was wrong with Blair and fix her they were going to have to deal with me. I reached into the glove box and pulled out another little package of Kleenex’s, I was looking out the window, humming along with the radio. My left hand rested on my knee while my right fist propped up my head. My whole body was shaking violently, and then I felt something lay on top of my hand that was placed on my knee. I turned my head and seen it was Frank’s hand on top of mine. I met his eyes; we were at a stop light so his eyes were focused on me and not the road. “She’ll be alright, Blair’s a tough cookie,” he assured me. “I know, but I can’t help but worry.” Frank took his hand that wasn’t on mine and wiped away a single tear ]that was falling down my cheek. Through the corner of my eye I seen the light turn green, Frank was still looking at me so when the car in-front of us began to move I turned my head away from Frank. He turned his attention back to the road and began to drive. Only another 10 minutes till we arrived at the hospital, but I guessed twice that long to see Blair.
