Dear My Chemical Romance and/or band staff:
I’m writing this in representation of your Latin American fans from the “Hotel Bella Muerte forum”. We’re not doing this to bother or insult you, of course not. We love you guys and we have a lot of respect for our favorite musicians. But, there are some things that are bothering us and we want you to know about them:
Recently we have read a lot of rumors about you coming to Latin America. These rumors made us jump of happiness and excitement. Who wouldn’t? Your favorite band coming to your country after almost three years of waiting!
But, just two days later, we read that you weren’t planning at all doing a South American tour. That really let us down, obviously. Also, some people said that you were asking for a lot of money to come here.
Maybe you don’t know, or remember, but here are a lot of MCR fans. And yes, maybe we’re not the greatest continent, the richest one, and we don’t have the best views or buildings, but all the we want is one show. We are not asking for five shows in a row, thousands of lights in a big stadium or anything like that. We just want to see you. And we also know that we can’t compare ourselves to the USA or UK, we know that things are much better there, but is it fair for us to have to watch you going to UK the whole time, playing a lot of shows there, even making a music video with them and nothing with us? It hurts, because it seems like you don’t want to spend time with us. Because, that’s the whole point of a tour, isn’t it? Being in front of a crowd that would give everything for you. Spending some time with us. I know people from the UK that saw you guys live, like eight times, and some of us never did. I think that’s terrible. We're being totally ignored, if you wanted to come, you would’ve come.
And please, don’t tell me that we’re “asking too much”. We know that you have families, and you’re tired, etc, etc. But if you can be touring and touring in other continents for months, you can come here.
We’re tired of being in the last place. No one wants to come here and it sucks. It's really disappointing!
