You Get What Everyone Else Gets>::<My Chemical Romance>::PART 9
In the past weeks since I had gone to the mall with Jess and the guys, both me and Jess dreaded each school day. Simply because of this: it turns out that those preps from Claire's that mobbed us at the mall that day ALL went to our school. That means that ten people in our school, who we already hated, and were very popular, witnessed me and Jess offically becoming Mikey and Gerard's girlfriends. The only thing that got us through the day was the thought of them picking us up from school at the end of the day. Don't get me wrong, all our friends were glad for us because they saw how happy we were with them. But we were getting mixed messages from the rest of the kids in our school. Some of them were desperate to be our friends just so they could meet My Chemical Romance. Others hated us for being with them. And others were so jealous it was sickening. But the most embarassing thing about the whole situation was that we had gone from being "those goth freaks with the piercings" to "MCR's girlfriends". That pissed us off the most! EVERYONE in our school knew, even the teachers! How did they find out, you ask? Well, not only from the Claire's preps. Most days, Mikey and Gerard would meet me and Jess in front of the school to take us home, but other days, Frankie and Ray would come. Oh yeah, I forgot. Frankie and I had become best friends, and Ray and Jess were best friends. And yes, I got to raid Frankie's closet. We found out that we were about the same clothes size, too, so I borrowed his clothes when I wanted to (I got in trouble one day for wearing his "Homophobia is Gay" shirt). Because me and Jess were aspiring guitarists (but I'm better that her, sry Jess!), they were teaching us their parts to "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", which we were getting really good at (we had it almost memorized). Me and Jess loved seeing the guys after school, and they loved seeing us. And to think the thing that brought us all together was a fucking wallet! Anyway, the best part about my relationship was Mikey was that my parents loved him! That didn't happen often, trust me.
Sorry if I'm rambling--back to the moment. Fifth period History. Me and Jess had this class together, and she sat right behind me. Every five minutes, I'd turn to her and ask "Is it 2:30 yet?".
Later, in the middle of our teacher's droning about some stupid news article, the loudspeaker came on: "Will Jessica and Jennifer please come to the main office?" I turned to Jess. I knew that voice.
"Is that Gerard?" I asked.
"I think so!" she said.
"Yes, guys, it's me. I can hear you talking about me!" he said through the speaker.
"Sowwy!" Jess said in a baby voice then laughed.
"It's ok, Jess," he said back.
"Jen, you there?" Mikey's voice came through the speaker.
"Mikey?! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"We have to tell you something, come to the office!" Mikey said. "Don't worry, it's good news!"
"Oh, thank God. You scared me!" I yelled.
"Sorry, beautiful," he said. I just smiled...I love it when he calls me that. (sry, girly moment)
"It's alright. We'll be down in a minute," I said back.
"See you soon," Mikey said.
"Hey! Class! Who else is in there?" Gerard's loud voice came out.
"Gerard!" Jess warned.
"Sorry," he said in a timid voice.
"Calm down. We'll be down in a minute!" Jess yelled back as we gathered our stuff.
"Hey everyone!" another voice said through the loudspeaker.
"Frankie?" I yelled.
"Hey best friend!" he yelled back. I put my head in my hands. What the hell were they doing?
"Hi Jess!" Ray said.
"Hey Ray!" Jess said back.
"Do you guys have the song memorized?" he asked.
"I'm Not Ok?" I asked.
"Yeah," Frankie said.
"Pretty much," Jess said. "Why?"
"You'll see!" Frankie yelled.
"No! Frankie, tell me!" I screamed.
"What are you gonna do to me if I don't?"
"Keep your red Revenge gloves!"
"Oh, shit! No! Come to the office and I'll tell you!"
"Thank you!" I yelled.
"Now hurry up!" Ray said. We heard the click noise telling us that the loudspeaker had been turned off.
"What the fuck are they doing here?" I whispered to Jess.
"I guess we'll find out," she said. I got my sketchbook [http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&M=952097142&ITEM=210558], my pen, and put it all in my bag [http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&M=952097142&ITEM=283109&RN=167].
"Sorry about this, Mr. Potenza," I told our teacher on the way out. "I swear this was NOT my idea."
He just nodded.
"Well, Happy Holidays!" I told him as me and Jess scurried out of the room, ignoring the jaws our classmates had dropped in our direction.
ooh! what's the news! i know your curious! CLICK ------->
Thanks for reading! That was my personal favorite part, it was fun to write the loudspeaker conversation. And, if you just happen to go to my school and have Mr. Potenza for history, you can identify with me and he drones a lot and his class is very boring. Anyways, I never put up a pic of Gerard, so here ya go
