another random retarded question lol.

I haev a friend who has kind of convinced me that by getting piercings I am going to end up alone in life. What are everyone elses views on this? I have three facial piercings right now, and I want one more. I have my nose, top an bottom lip done. I want my tongue, I have an appointment to do it, it's just now I'm worried more than I was before.
By getting piercings, am I destroying any hope I might have at getting a boy friend one day?
According to everyone I've asked about them, they suit me well. They all like them. Am I over reacting to this?
