As they all sat in the van, Danny with ice on his head, because he had a bruise, Willow sitting cross-legged next to Mily, who was grinning at Danny. Gerard and Mikey were sitting at the small table in the van. Frank was sitting ON the table, and Ray was leaning against the counter.
“Okay, so you three are all family?” Frank asked, confused.
“Yeah, Mily and I grew up together after mom left us with Willow.” Danny said.
“Yes, it was the worst day of my life when I had to leave Willow.” Mily said. Danny nodded, solemnly.
“Yeah, I bet.” Willow muttered, rolling her eyes.
“What?” Everyone turned and stared at her.
“Look, while you two went off to live with dad, get a good education, have fun together, go to who knows where.....I was stuck with mom. I had to work to get our food every day. I had to deal with mom every time she got depressed. She never wanted me. She realized what a failure I was at age twelve! She stopped talking to me, she stopped taking care of me, she stopped loving me! While you were with dad, which is exactly where I wanted to go in the first place, I was with that monster.” Willow said, bitterly.
“Yeah, but you could have always come to us....” Mily said, shocked.
“No, I couldn't. You two didn't write, call, message, nothing! You left me in the dust with mom! I missed you guys so much! You two were the only two people who kept me sane! When I lost you two, I was all alone. I couldn't go to anyone....you know my trust issues....you literally ruined my life.” Willow said, standing up.
“Sorry.” Danny said, quietly. Mily stared at her, in shock and horror.
“Willow, calm down....” Ray said, reaching for her.
“Don't touch me!” Willow said, flinching. Ray pulled away, quickly.
“Will, I think you're overreacting....” Danny said, standing up, trying to walk toward her, slowly.
“No, I'm not. After all that's happened....I WAS ABANDONED!” She yelled.
“Willow!” Mikey and Frank both called as she ran out of the van. Everyone stared in silence for a minute.
“He wouldn't let us!” Mily sobbed.
“What?” Ray asked, rushing to her side. He picked her small body up and sat on the chair, letting her sob into his chest.
“Dad! He wouldn't let us try and contact her! We did! We tried so hard, but we could never find her!” Mily sobbed. Gerard looked at Danny.
“Is this true?” He asked.
Danny nodded. “ I tried to tell her, but when Will gets like that....well....it's hard to calm her down.” He said, looking out the windows.
“I can't believe you all.” Frank said, quietly.
“What?” Ray asked.
“You all just let her run away!” Mikey yelled, grabbing his jacket. He shoved into Danny.
“Whoa, what was that for?” Danny asked.
“She's your sister! You just let her run off!?!? And after all these years! The streets are dangerous!” Mikey said.
Mily stared in horror at Danny. “When I first saw her, she was about to be mugged by two guys in L.A.” She said
“Wait, what?!?!?!” Frank yelled.
“Yeah.....” Mily said, quietly.
“I can't believe you all!” Mikey yelled, he ran out of the van, after Willow.
“I'm going too.” Franks said, running out after Mikey.
“What're we gonna do?” Ray asked Gerard.
“Wait....what else can we do?” Gerard asked, sadly. Mily was crying again. Danny looked impassive.
“Maybe we should....” Danny started. Then, they heard a gunshot....and then another....and then a scream. Danny's eyes grew wide as everyone got up. They all bolted out the door.
“NO!” Mikey was yelling, not too far off.
