Two pretty funny things happened today. So... I don't know how many of you remember me talking about that guy, R, who sorta stalked me and gave me unwanted gifts and stuff. Well, one time (awhile back) I was talking to my friend Hunter about the problem and I was like "And he gives me all these gifts that I don't even want!!!" I was really mad, and then Hunter said "'Here, I got you this rag soaked in chloroform!'" I laughed my ass off and it made me feel better. Then last night I was doing my chemistry homework (a day late...) and one of the problems was about chloroform. I laughed and texted Hunter, telling him about the problem. This morning he came up to me in the hallway and was like "So, this morning I was half delirious, and I looked at my phone, and all I saw was a message from you saying something about chloroform. I thought you were saying you had drugged someone with chloroform and wanted me to help you hide the body." I said "Oh, yeah, that too!" and we both laughed for awhile (if it doesn't seem as funny, it might be one of those "had to be there" moments). So that's the first one, and it made my one class I share with R a whole bunch easier to bear.
The second one is that my friend (who isn't an MCR fan, but she doesn't hate them and has one of their songs on her iPod) and I were talking about how we hate it when popular idiots start to like the things we like. I told her about how a really mean, stuck-up popular girl in my AcComp (academic competition) class said "Oh, My Chemical Romance? I like them!" one time. My friend, Amy, said she was probably just trying to be agreeable so everyone would like her, and she goes "'Oh, you like them? Who's their lead singer?' 'Uh, Steve?' 'And when's his birthday?'" It was obvious she meant it as a joke and said it because you don't have to know his birthday to like them, only the slightly more obsessed people (us, then) know it. But I automatically immediately said "Actually, his birthday's coming up!" making myself sound a little stalkerish (but I'm not!). We both paused for a minute, and then we almost died laughing.
So yeah, those are my stories. They probably didn't make much sense to you, especially the 2nd one. I think part of the reason it was so funny to us was because Amy and I have been friends so long that we think alike. For instance, after we decided we were going to use legitimate where most people say legit (because people seem to have forgotten that legit does in fact mean legitimate) we both said in the exact same popular bitch voice at the exact same time, "That is SO legitimate." We just kinda run on the same wavelength.
That's all, folks!
