Hey everyone!
Here's what's happened the past month. Here's a run down of what happened.
As I said in my last blog, I went to Canyon Lake again. It felt much better than this past summer weather wise. I forgot half my stuff to do like my iPod(I use it for an alarm when I'm not at my house), my mouthwash, phone, debit card O.o, house keys, pen for writing in the journal I DID remember, my book that I was going to read. It was all in my purse. My mom asked if I had my meds and I shook my clothing bag so she would hear the pills but didn't notice my purse wasn't in there!
I cried the first hour of the trip, but calmed down enough before we stopped for dinner. The days were chilly enough for a jacket, so when we went out, I wore my MCR jacket! It also rained overnight and some in the morning, so I got to see it rain there for the first time in years! Every time since I was about twelve, it has never rained while I was visiting. It felt so nice being outside.
They built a new shopping center up there that includes Best Buy and Target, so we went into town to investigate how it looked! The entrance is on the opposite side as ours, but it was still cool. Browsed through the vinyls at one of the thrift shops. Found a old guy who saw me flipping through them and we got to talking about my newfound fascination with them, how I now want to collect them and how their sound quality is better than CDs since they have to alter the music to fit it on the CD, therefore taking away some of its quality sound. Sometimes it's worth talking to old people.
Last weekend we went to go Christmas tree shopping at a Christmas tree farm with my brother. It was Declan's first Christmas, so we had a lot of fun with him as well. I love riding on the trailers.
My cat Bear also lost 2 more pounds! He's now 14lbs! The vet still wants him to lose a little more though...
We put our Christmas tree up on the 6th and decorated it. We put MY ornaments on first- the ones that symbolize me, what I've done, things I like(Scooby Doo) and ornaments I received from another person(a white Teddy bear w/a Santa hat holding a present). We've been watching Christmas shows left and right, too. (Can anyone give me a "hell yes" for How the Grinch Stole Christmas?)
That's pretty much what all has happened. I CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT SUNDAY! CHRISTMAS DAY!
Have a Very Merry Christmas,
-Siren of Christmas Cheer :D
