Hey Killjoys,
This November has been so good to me! Since I like making lists, I'll list the reasons off!
1. (the most obvious good news) Danger Days finally came out! Two years of waiting (although somewhat impatiently the last six months) has paid off! Another album that I was able to buy on its release date! Also since there's a sale at Best Buy before Thanksgiving, it was on sale- so I got it $5 cheaper! Ah, the wonderful things about releasing albums around holidays...
2. My second workshop piece for my writing class got better reception than my first! I didn't realize how many things were still wrong with it until I read it to the class though...I explained I didn't want other things to overpower the main story so I left out a lot of stuff and forgot to include relations to a couple characters...hehe. It would have been worse if I had printed it the way it was before I actually changed stuff up.
3. We didn't even have class today in my music class! After he had taken roll, he started talking about the sales before Thanksgiving and then acknowledged the fact most of the class wouldn't even come to class on Wednesday. He basically put up a vote and asked, "Who wants to stay for class?" No one raised their hands, so we got let go and I got to listen to Danger Days in the library! And he let us off for Wednesday!
4. No one close to me died. October was so rough on me because my friend Jonathan died that I wasn't completely into my schoolwork. The whole second half of the month was horrible for me. The only thing happy was the prospect of Danger Days coming out this month.
5. THANKSGIVING AND LOTS OF FOOD!!!
6. MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY IS ONLY A MONTH AWAY!
Those are my reasons, so this makes the best November I've had. All this has overshadowed the darkness that has plagued my semester so far. And why the hell does The Kids From Yesterday remind of songs from the 80s? Right now I don't care, cuz it and Planetary (GO!) are my two new favorite songs!
