Ok, as you can tell, I got two A's for my final grade this semester. Let me tell how that came about.
Tai Chi was basically a given. Participate in class, come to class, turn in our journals and do good on the demo and written test and you got it made- and I did. Easy A. Pretty much a given.
First off, the last time we got to look at our grades in my philosophy class, I had an 82. Our professor told us he would take off our lowest exam grade. My lowest was a 66. And since I did every homework, and got 98s on almost all of my Summary Reports, I knew I would still get a good grade if I bombed the final. Our final turned out to be a fkin essay- and I hate those. I must have done a good job though, or else I wouldn't have an A!
And last night, when the big storm came through and gave us 2.75 inches of rain from 5pm to midnight, I told my mom "It would be funny if my teachers posted my grades while my computer was off." After all, it's not safe for your electronics to be plugged in during lightning. Unfortunately that wasn't the case when I turned it back on at about 11:45. Then the power went out. But when I got up this morning, I immediately checked and it was there! My second A!
I've NEVER had more than one A in a semester, and now have 4 A's for my entire college career, which goes back to the summer of 07- right after I graduated high school. I AM SO EXCITED! I'm going to play some upbeat music to celebrate! Who gives a crap what I get in German!
