"Life with MCR' Part 39!!

We fell silent, watching our classmates bustling this way and that, our shoulders touching lightly.

I let my head fall side ways, so it was resting slightly against his. I felt him curl his hand with mine, and he put his head aganist mine.

We do this now, any chance we get. It's...comforting, I guess you could say. I looked over at him, and I saw him blushing.

"What's with the blush?" I teased, leaning over and nudging him with my nose. He went a shade darker.

"You know well enough..."

I giggled and was about to say something when the bell rang shrilly. We jumped, and he slowly moved let go, standing up. He held his hand out, and smiled.

"Come on, you tease. We gotta go." I grinned, taking his hand and letting him pull me to my feet. I swung my bag over my shoulder, and keeping my hand around his, we jumped off the stage, heading for the door. He let his hand fall from mine, putting them in his pockets.

"Yo, Becki!!" I stopped, and Link went barely 2 steps before he did too, the both of us looking back.

A guy from this class (I think his name's Seth) came running over, his hair hanging in his face.
He had longish light brown hair and almost translunset blue eyes, and he was blushing. He was about an inch taller then me, but he seemed nice.

"Umm...yes?"

"I-I was wondering, Becki...I-If you would...go to the dance with me?" He wasn't even looking at me, he was staring at his dark green converse. "I'd really like to get to know you better."

"Ummm....I'm sorry, Seth. I'm already going with somebody."

His shoulders shagged, and I felt sorry for him.

"Oh...I see. I guess I should've expected it. You being you, and stuff."

I smiled, reaching over and putting my hand on his shoulder, squeezing it gently.

"Why don't you ask Hannah? She seems like a really nice girl. And she's right over there."

He gave a weak smile before walking by and toward Hannah, the brunnete walking alongside a friend of hers. I wasn't sure what her name was, but I'd heard Hannah call her Jukebox on the occasion.

"Becki!!! Becki!!" I turned again just in time to see a flash of blonde, and Nat tackling me into Link, who called out.

"Hey! Natalie French, watch it!"

She was giggling uncontrollably, and hugging me tightly, her pixie face brighter then I'd ever seen it before.

"What happend Nat? You look ready to explode."

She let go, jumping up on the chairs before hopping off and spinning in circles. I looked at Link and he shrugged.

"Nat? What happend that made you into a little hyperactive demon?"

She stopped, finally looking at me, before she blushed, replying.

"I got asked to go to the dance!!" She spun around, her skirt flaring out. I smiled, nudgeing Link.

"So, who asked you?"

"I did." We looked over in surprise, as Jessie walked by, the boy flashing Nat a crooked smile. "I'm glad you said yes, Nat."

She blushed, and nodded, looking after him as he walked away. I looked in surprise at Link, and the atmosphere changed again. I turned my head slowly, and to my horror, I saw Frank looking with blank eyes.

Oh, god...

Nat turned, tilting her head in confusion at him.

"What's wrong Frankie-?"

He quickly pushed pass, running and leaving us behind.

"Shit! Frank-!" I took a step after him, but I stopped when I felt Link's hand curl around my arm. I whipped back, looking at him.

"Don't. It'll only make it worse, B." His eyes were sad, but his grip on my arm was firm.

No, I didn't tell Link about Frank's crush on Nat. He just kinda knew already.

"But... We can't just..." But I knew he was right. I'd never admit it, but he was right.

"What's wrong with Frank?" Nat asked, her eyes confused.

I sighed deeply, pretending to adjust my bag.

Could she really not see it? It was so obvious!

"Nothing Nat. Come on. We have to get to class." I turned away and started walking.

Oh, Frank...I'm sorry.

I held my guitar with care as I sat down in the back of the class. The guitar, which I'd nicknamed 'Venom' for it's neon green and black designs, was already tunned to my liking.

It was music class now, just before lunch, and Frank hadn't shown up yet. I felt sorry for him, cause I knew what it was like to have the girl you like go out with another guy.

It was like getting punched in the gut everytime you saw them together.

Just then, I heard a certain brunette playing the first opening notes of 'Demolition Lovers', and I looked over at her and smiled to myself.

Her head was bent over the guitar, a navy blue one, that she held like a child. Her fingers moved across it with a confidance I wish I had. Her eyes were always half way opened, as if she played in a trance.

I listened as she played for a few minutes before I started playing it too. I wasn't as good as she was, but I had always had a soft spot for this song, so I knew it well.

She turned around and looked at me, her brown eyes teasing as her scarred eyebrow raised in question.

"Oh, really? Since when do you play this song, Link?"

I looked at her, trying not to smile.

"Since always, B." I played a couple notes before continuing. "Besides," I said, flashing her a grin from behind my black bangs, "I've offically decided that's our song."

I saw a light pink blush pop onto her dark tanned cheeks, but I saw her smile a little.

"O-Oh..."

She peeked at me from under her lashes, before she went back to playing.

I looked at her, letting my eyes take in the details of this angel eyed little she-devil. The way her back gently curved, how her hair always curled at the bottoms, and how... I blinked in surprise, seeing the pale skin of scars peeking from just beneth the top of her shirt.

Scars? I wonder...

I reached over, feeling my arm, one of my own scars just beneth, still feelable even under the 2 shirts I wore.

I wonder if she has as many as I do...?

I felt the ache from the surpressed tears well up in my throat, but I swallowed it down again.

I'm not crying here. I am NOT!

I was tucked away in the back of the lunchyard, my lunch forgotten beside me. I knew Nat,
Becki, and Link were waiting for me at our usual spot under the Old Oak tree, but I wasn't gonna show today.

It was hurting too much.

I'm such an idiot...why didn't I ask her sooner?! Why didn't I suggest we all go as a group of something!? Why-!?

"Hey Frank?" I looked up, seeing Alex looking at me curiously.

"Y-Yeah?" He smiled slightly, plopping down beside me. He was barely taller then Nat- He was lean and incredably small, so next to me, he probably looked like a 9 year old kid.

"You should've asked her when you had the chance. But even now, don't drop your guard around Jessie. You know how he is and what he's after."

I nodded, feeling my eyes narrow and my fists curl.

"I know."

"Lyn-z! I'm home!" I closed the door behind me, as the sound of rushing feet came down the stairs.

"Sissy!!" A small, black haired little girl came running up to me in a really pretty blue-green sundress, her hair held from her face with little matching hairclips.

I dropped my bag instantly, scooping her up and twirling her around.

"Hi, Bandit!! I missed you!"

I hugged her to me, hearing her giggle against my thick cotten hoodie. She was warm and, now that I paid attetion, she reminded me even more of Gerard.

"I mizzed you too!!" I set her down, kneeling and smiling at her. Her hazel eyes were wide, and I suddenly had a flash back of Banditta.

Her looking up and running to me when I got back from my first day of school. Her holding the cornhusk doll I'd made for her when she was born. Her just being...her.

"Sissy!" I felt her hit me in the forhead with her little fist, pulling me from my memories. I smiled, poking her in the forhead.

"What?" She pouted, rubbing her head, before she poked me back and pulling on my hand.

"Will you make me a snack? I'm hungry!" I rolled my eyes, but nodded, picking her up.

"I swear, BB. You have your uncle Frankie's attetion span."

She grinned, nodding happily.

"Uh-huh! Daddy's told me that too!"

I laughed, spinning her around a moment before taking her to the kitchen.

"So, what're you craving, sweetie?" I asked, setting her down on the counter. She got this kinda thoughtful look on her face, and, to my surprise, she flicked her tounge between her lips.

Gee does that-!

"Umm...How 'bouts...peanut butter on rice krispies!" She giggled, swinging her legs. I laughed, pulling my hair back into a ponytail as I started looking through the cabnits.

"You really are like you're Uncle Frankie, aren't you?"

"Uh-huh!!"

Hmm....soup, canned veggies, canned fruit...Peanut butter!

I grabbed it, before rummaging through the rest, but no Rice Krispies.

"Sissy?" I turned, and laughed, putting the peanut down and raising my eyebrow.

"BB? What're you doing silly?"

She was holding her hair back with her hand, and she'd drawn a line on her forhead.

"I'm you, sissy!" She pointed to the line, "See? I has your scar too!"

I smiled slightly, walking over and, after licking my thumb, rubbed away the line.

"No sweetie. You shouldn't have a scar to mess up you're pretty face. You don't want it."

I moved her hand, making her hair fan out. I saw Gerard in her eyes.

It still amazed me.

"But..." She reached up, pushing my hair back, her fingers touching my scar. I almost jerked away in surprise, but I made myself stand still. "But you're pretty too, sissy. As pretty as Mommy is."

I smiled, but sighed a little as I went to keep looking for the Rice Krispies.

"No ones as pretty as your Mommy, sweetheart. Espescially not me."

I pushed a bunch of Hamburger Helpers aside, and I finally found a small box of Rice Krispies. I grinned, pulling it down and pulling out 2 blue foil covered packages before putting it back.

"Lookit, BB! I found them." I turned, and grabbing the peanut butter, walked over to her. He face lite up, but I could've sworn she had looked sad before.

"Yay!!"

I was about to start spreading the peanut butter on the marshmellow treats when I heard the door open, and a fall scented breeze blow in.

"Bandit! Becki! I'm home!"

I put Bandit down, watching her run, crying happily.

"Mommy!!"

Lyn-z smiled, leaning down and scooping up her daugther. The little girl giggled, kissing her Mom on the cheek.

"Hi baby! How was your day?"

I smiled, closing the peanut butter. I walked into the living room, grabbing my bag and heading upstairs.

"Becki!"

I stopped, looking back in surprise to see Lyn-z smiling at me.

"Becki, where are you going? Come here."

I felt my eyes widen, and she laughed.

"I have something for you, silly. Come on!"

I creeped back down, stopping a few feet away. Lyn-z gave me a surprisingly warm smile, holding out a dark blue bag. I crept closer, taking the bag from her.

It was kinda heavy, and I opened it, feeling excited.

"What is it?" She chuckled, pulling her hair out of it's ponytail.

"Well, open it and find out."

I sat down on the couch, crossing my legs. Bandit peered at me, a new dark brown teddy bear dangling from her arms loosely.

I pulled out the navy blue tissue paper, and I tilted my head to the side as I pulled a small box out.

It was a headcam, like the ones the used for skype and stuff like that. I tilted my head to the other side, blinking a few times.

"I just thought..." Lyn-z started, coming back in, in Gerard's favorite David Bowie shirt and a pair of his pajama bottoms. She sat down beside me, pulling Bandit onto her lap. "You'd like to start a video diary. High school can be hard, so I think it'll be good if you can express you feelings with this."

I turned it over in my hands before I realized something.

Lyn-z was being...nice!

I smiled at her, hesitating for a second before I hugged her.

"Thanks! It's great!"

I felt her go rigged, but she relaxed after a second, putting her arm around me and squeezing back.

"You're welcome." She smiled, before adding in a motherly tone. "Now go do you're homework, K? I'll call you when dinners ready."

I nodded, running upstairs, feeling...different.

See? I knew there wasn't a reason to be afraid of her. I told myself, smiling.

I set my new gift on my dresser, before putting on 'Black Parade', singing along with my Gerard as I began studying my lines for the play.

**~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LWMCR~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**

I sighed, leaning back against the wall of my bunk, hearing Mikey's snoring and Frank talk in his sleep from where he was curled beside me.

He was scared the spider would come back, so he'd been sleeping with either me or Mikey.

I looked down at the now crumpled photo I had of us and Becki, running my thumb over her smiling, yet scarred, face.

It was 12:00 here in Jersey, and I knew that on the other side of the country, Becki'd be sleeping, her teddy under her arm and a slight smile on her face.

I missed her. Alot. And I knew the others did too, even though they didn't say.

Mikey had the tendency to look off into space more then usual, and he'd started humming Becki's lullaby all the time and painting scenes of a countryside.

Frank wasn't as hyper as he usualy was, and he'd started reading one of Becki's favorite books, 'M is for Monster', which was a bunch of tales about different monsters.

Ray was the most surprising of all. I hadn't seen him touch his DS for almost 2 weeks. He hadn't touched his DS, his PSP, his Gameboy. He hasn't even challenged me or the others to a Guitar Hero Game!

Missing her's put a huge strain on all of us...

I closed my eyes for a second, begging for sleep, and for the first time, it came. I slumped down, feeling Frank throw an arm on me as I let my tired eyeslids flutter shut.

I'll call that school in the morning...Maybe the offers still up....
The last thought came like a breeze as I fell into a much needed sleep.

To Be continued.

School started this month, so I haven't had as much time lately to write or be on here. Don't believe me, ask Adrealine Static. I haven't gotten to talk to her in forever.
