in school today at library just writing my MCR fanfic, when the librarian walks by me and says
"hello Katie, how are you?"
some other girl: "YOUR NAME IS KATIE? I LOVE THAT NAME ITS SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVE YOU NOW YOUR MINE NOW. I'M ADOPTING YOU ARE YOU A FRESHMAN?"
me:-slowly nods, and was about to explain that my real name is kaitlyn and i prefer to be called kat-
Her:-doesn't give me a chance to explain "I ADOPTED A FRESHMAN. KATIE IS MY FAV NAME I WANNA NAME MY CHILD KATIE I AM JUST INLOVE WITH THAT NAME"
me: -thinks- just....gerardway...go back to..ray toro...dont make eye contact...just nod and think about ur happy place with mikey way and frank iero....just..no. -smiles- "thanks...i got new mom."
...
now how am i gonna break this to my X-mom?
"hey mom you're fired from being my mom because some random stranger at my school forcefully adopted me because of the name you gave me"
yep. thats gonna end in tears...but most likely confusion.
