The tour reports are in for MCR's first show of the World Contamination Tour in London, UK! Tour reporters Michelle B. and Sarah I. were there, and had this to say:
"The danger days are here, and the killjoys blew up the Hammersmith Apollo like the post apocalyptic world they know and love. After a three year break from the UK, the boys were back in town to play the first show on the Danger Days World Contamination Tour and they melted off our faces." - Michelle B.
"I shed a tear during Cancer and again when Gerard announced "London thank you so much. We are really excited about this record, but we're more excited about the next 10 years of this band." After being away for so long they've really come back with bang and knowing we've got a lot more to look forward to just makes it all so much more exciting." - Sarah I.

Michelle B:
The danger days are here, and the killjoys blew up the Hammersmith Apollo like the post apocalyptic world they know and love. After a three year break from the UK, the boys were back in town to play the first show on the Danger Days World Contamination Tour and they melted off our faces. We were treated to 90 minutes of raw intensity that hasn't ever been experienced before, a whole new level of dangerous just became apparent for a live show. The setlist was a widely mixed variety with two appearances of songs from Bullets, Our Lady Of Sorrows (one not played live for many years, says Gerard) and Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us (during which, two people were unprecedently pulled from the crowd to sing on stage with the band), which as songs from Bullets usually produce a rip roaring reaction, tonight was no exception. Songs from Three Cheers and from The Black Parade made their apperances too, but also eagerly awaited heard and unheard (Planetary Go! and the haunting Kids From Yesterday) material from Danger Days, all of which went down a storm. Within a few short bars of each new song the crowd were drinking it up. The band were alsoin high spirits, shenangians included masks from the crowd being worn, jazzy dance moves, jovial quips during song intervals and a cheeky grins never once left their faces. The atmosphere was buzzing with electricity and everyone in the room felt it. The Killjoys made some noise and blew off our faces!
Sarah I:
It took me a while to compose myself as I was introduced to MCR, I actually had to apologise to Frank and Mikey for being so nervous. When I finally managed to talk I did ask them a couple of questions. Firstly I asked if the Killjoys in the comic book would look like them, according to Gerard they won't but they will have the same beliefs. Next I asked if they could collaborate with a British band who would it be. Mikey said Morrissey and Jarvis Cocker, I told them I was a Gallows fan and asked Frank about the time he played on stage with them. He said Leathermouth were meant to be playing a few gigs with them but it never really came off which is a shame because that would have been epic! They said they'd done some shopping over here but when I asked if they'd been to Forbidden Planer yet they all said no and that they'd have no room left in their luggage if they went in there. Mikey also wants to see Wall Street 2 and would seem to be a fan of the film Mannequinn (aren't we all?). The gig itself was amazing and the mix of the old and the new stuff worked really well. Planetary (GO) is really catchy and Na Na Na got a great reception. The crowd was as fantastic as ever and everyone had a great time. I shed a tear during Cancer and again when Gerard announced "London thank you so much. We are really excited about this record, but we're more excited about the next 10 years of this band." After being away for so long they've really come back with bang and knowing we've got a lot more to look forward to just makes it all so much more exciting.
