the costume contest was really cool, and i luv the winners. i didn't like the fact that alotta ppl r just pissin n moaning about how they didn't win, or bashing the winners, or saying it wasn't creative bc it was just the black parade. all the negativity. christ. wtf? sum of them r sore losers, but hey, u all should know its a 1 in a million chance of actually winning. this is a popular band with a zillion fans world wide! u have 2 factor in tht fact too u know! and what would be the fun of the contest if u didn't have a little competition? U gotta know that there's gonna b at least sum1 out there in the world that's gonna have a costume that mite b better than yours, or cooler than however cool you thought yours was. And its a biast opinion. Everyone thinks there's is going to be the best but seriously, come back to reality. there's always the chance of winning but the chance of losing just happens to be a little greater.
So my main point: stop bitchin n whining that yours (n by tht i mean any of u) didn't win, n move on with your lives. There'll be other contests and other times. There r bigger and better things to have your hopes set on. I'm sure the prize was great but really? Don't bash the winners just because you're a bitter sore loser. I don't mean to be harsh, but really.
Again, don't mean to be mean or hurt any1s feelings, but i dnt like it wen ppl get bitter over sumthing they should know is a long shot for anyone who entered. I CONGRATULATE EVERYONE WHO ENTERED THIS CONTEST!!!! U WERE ALL PHENOMENAL!

I agree with this comment. I think the winners' costumes are really rad, especially the guy in TBP float (it took me awhile to notice that he was Ray,lol).
Anyway, I don't mean to be a bitch or something but when people said they're being creative and that they should be the winner, please remember that not everyone can tell what you're dressing up as just by looking at it. I look at some entries from people who claimed that they should've win and I'm sorry to say that their costumes are no match for those of the winners'.
And i am sure that 'insulting people who gets something you don't' mentality ended in playschool. kthx.

I worked so effin hard on my costumes, sometimes i were like almost falling on the floor because i was sleepy.
i'm not trying to say that I should have won, but I EXPECTED YOU HAD CHOSEN BETTER COSTUMES.
I liked Mother war, only. The first looks like a RUSSIAN. The last one looks like a wax doll with a BUCKET on its head.
Honestly, it was SUPPOSED to be an ORIGINAL COSTUME only BASED on MCR stuff. And do you know what i saw?

hum, i hadn't got enough time for making my costume, but i had 2 options, i wanted to be dressed as Gerard in a photoshoot that appeared in LOTMS that it was like all them dressed like old people from the begginings of the last century.. XD and other option was mother war...or Our Lady of sorrows...
but i hadn't got enough time... u.u
well, i guess i'll have to wait to x-mas if there's a contest fot that....and if not for next year!! xD

I personally am very upset with the whole band, or whoever they chose to represent them in the choosing of this contest. I have prided myself on loving my chem because i felt they were different, caring, and something to have faith in. Here's what I know, I know my costume wasn't that great, but I also know that there were lots of you out there they put everything you had into your costumes, and for three days we all waited and stayed up past our bedtimes checking every ten minutes to see who won. We all expected these amazing costumes depicting that certain fans interpretation of our beloved my chem's music. You know what I saw? I saw copied ideas, I saw one idea with actual thought put into it, the others were things that MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE,created not those fans. I thought they wanted creativity i saw nothing of that sort. Disappointment can not even begin to describe how I feel about Your chemical romance. They're fakes.
OMG, the first one is the best
all I can do is laugh. that was just amaaaaazing. The parade's ride, and the dolls and ray's hair. awesome.

we've thought that we shold use our imagination to win this contest. we've done our best to make something interesting.
We have chosen Cancer because one of our relatives has died because of cancer and our grandmother works in science center which tryes to find out how to fight against cancer.
Well, here is our story. One girl meets her boyfriend after he has been in hospital. She finds out that he has cancer and they say goodbye to each other.After his death she goes to his grave every day and relly can't stop thinking about him. She can't live without him.

I've read almost every comment. (I do it all the time to make sure that I don't accidentally say that same as everyone else.) Well every one is basically saying the same thing.
First I wanna say... Congrats... I have too noticed that they are all from TBP but hey... THey first album didn't really have album art to copy from but then again... Pretty sure everyone was planning on making something from the second and fourth album (I concider LOTMS as their third album even if it's the same songs on the first two. JTLYK.) I was trying my hardest to not do the samething as everyone else but I sadly faild. Reading through the comments I saw that most girls were trying to be like Mother War. As far as the Creativity thing... Yeah I see your point... but still... can't really complain. The guys were clear that it had to be album art, Lyrics, or one of the guys. But hey... Creativity might not get you as far as you think. I think that they might have actually judged by what inspired us to dress up like we did. But then again I can be wrong. I too would like to see the rest of the pics that were entered. I did my costume as a last minute thing so i already knew that I wasn't going to win. I'm sure I didn't even get to the top ten. Lol. My costumes were thrown together last moment. Literaly... No one cared enough to listen to me. and I'll admit... I cried yes causeI found out that I didn't win. Not cause the not winning part but cause everyone in my family I tried to talk to and see if they can help me get what i wanted didn't even listen to me. I cried to my grandparents and said that I'm not upset for not winning I'm upset cause no one even bothered to listen to me for just one minute. And he saw me cry and I got mad at him cause he was just sitting there watching me cry and I said "Are you waiting for me to cry to death?" then he said "No cause I know how much it ment to you." I was in a really pissy mood so I said this back and it was mean cause my grandpa really does care for me... I said "Really? then if you knew why didn't you just stop what you were doing to listen to what I needed to make my costume?" and he didn't answer. I felt bad I wanted to cry even more cause my grandpa is basically th one who spoils me and I talked to him like that.
Either way... I'm not upset at losing cause hey those kids beat me by a shit load. lol. But I had fun running up and down stairs trying to get my costume done.
Hey... The band at least saw everyones faces. =) That's what cheered me up. Haha. So i did win... In my weird somewhat obsesed way. LMAO!!!
