THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE

Sooo one of my friend's names is Tom. Which is short for Thomas. And he is bulking up, or, in other words, becoming tank. So that clearly gives me the right to call him Thomas the Tank Engine right? WRONG!! When I mentioned how awesome it was that I could call him Thomas the Tank Engine now, he threatened to kill me. I believe his exact words were "Call me Thomas the Tank Engine and I'll snap yo bloomin neck fool." Then he added quite politely "But you can call me tank anytime :D" No way I'm gonna call him tank without the workds "Thomas" "the" and "engine" being around it. He's the one missing out here.
