((i can't find the inspiration to write on my fanfics but i came up with this short stror for my lovley readers :D enjoy <3))

The rose petal and the bloody hound
I walked slowly forwards on the trail when I heard the howl echoing through the night-black forest. I pulled my scarlet cloak tighter around me, I wasn’t afraid but not entirely free from the fear that he would find me. All who lived in the forest zones were aware of the monstrous gen manipulated monster dog that BL/ind let out each night to keep us terrified, but none of us were really scared of him. We aren’t afraid of dying, the only thing we fear is not to getting to live our lives on our own terms

My bow was resting on my shoulder and I heard the rattling arrows in my quiver. Those who came from the other zones had ray-guns and bombs with them, they shot down the deer and wolves because they felt like it. We who live here understand that we must nurture and take advantage of the forests; BL/ind don’t like it and want to create a new Battery City here because the climate is just right. But BLI has never spent a winter in the woods and we won’t let them do it either. All of us are here to protect the refuge for all of us, the unofficial killjoy capital Sunshine City.

I was one of the secret guardians, one of the rose warriors. We kept the hound away from the Sunsine City and BL/ind away from the forests. I used to be called the petal or the raven, I seemed frail as I walked around with my red cloak and the bow over my shoulder, but I could be like a dark creature of the night and kill without any thought of mercy. Some of my friends often said that I was like two different people when I was on duty and when I was off. I was ripped out of my dreams when the howling was heard again, but a young girl's screams were heard as well and I was quickly on the move towards the sounds. I got out my dagger and stepped out of the shadows, the girl was standing with her back against a rock and the big hound was walking in a half-moon pattern closer and closer to her. It was time for the Raven to throw off her rose red disguise and fly like a bearer of death in the night.

I stabbed the monster in the back again and again and heard a loud growl coming out of his mouth. He turned around and tried to bite me with his bloody jaws for me, one of my arrows hit him in the leg and I screamed to the girl "run to town and get the roses, hurry up!" the beast got hold of my arm for a few seconds and I heard something crack. I turned everything off and continued to shoot my arrows with the black and red feathers without thinking about the pain in my arm. I heard screaming and listened to them, all I heard was "run away" and "come here, oh dear raven come to us if you want to live" I saw a huge paw coming towards me and let the arrow before it hit me and made me to fly into the mountain where the girl stood at a moment ago.

I opened my eyes and saw the girl sitting on a chair at a red painted wall. She looked at me and nodded respectfully as the door was thrown open. "Never do that to me again, Erin, do you hear me NEVER!" I smiled at my fiance and felt his warm kiss on my lips. "What happened after I flew into the rock?" He looked at me and laughed. "Your arrow hit the bloody hound in his right eye, he's dead and you have been chosen as the city's protective saint!" I giggled at the thought of myself as a statue in the saints garden, along with Jet star, Party Poison, Kobra Kid and Fun Ghoul. I looked down at my arm and I was not particularly surprised by the cast who was sitting there. But when I tried to stand, I got pale in the face and felt sick. I couldn’t move my legs.

One year later

I sat quietly under the weeping willow by the river, my daughter was playing with her friends in the sand and I heard a howling far away. I was not the only one who had a kid, the dog apparently had a son but it was just a puppy so far. Every day I trained my daughter, although I couldn’t show how she did stuff anymore, we went on with our daily workouts. My fiancé, Jake, showed her the most and I helped her understand what she would be. Several times I asked if this was what she wanted to become, one of the rose warriors and each time she answered seriously. "Mom, as long as the bloody hounds are alive, we will fight against them, and I will do my duty and follow my own will when I do this." I sat there and looked at my brave daughter and suddenly realized how similar we are, both are a completely different person when duty calls, and both are doing everything for others well-being. I looked up at the moon, it was red as blood and the hound's howling was heard once again. "We meet again in the afterlife my bloody friend."

the end xD
