this poem is about one of my friends. see shes very suicidal and shes tryed taking her life many times. i help her as much as i can because shes a dear friend of mine. i thought i lost her a week or so ago. i thought she had died but two days later i found out she was ok. here is the poem i first wrote when i thought i lost her:
A sob escapes her dry mouth
She wipes her eyes
The blade glistens
She stares at her pale, white skin
The blade calls out
It wants her blood
She is confused
Scared and alone
What will people think?
She doesn’t care
Will anyone miss her?
She doubts it
But the one thing she doesn’t know
Is she has a army of people
They all love her
They all want her safe
But she doesn’t know
She dry’s her eyes
One final time
And in a swift movement
She ends it all
Sliding the blade
Across her wrist
Saying goodbye forever
Leaving us all
She’s in a better place
But we all miss her
Rest in peace
We love you.
