Does anyone else think Green Day's new album is complete shit compared to their old stuff? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, including me, and I think they totally catted with 21st Century Breakdown. If you disagree with me, post a comment saying why; I'd like to know. ;]

Some of their songs are great, but to me this album are the adults finally coming out you know?
Songs about their generation, the future generation and religion. (well for me anyway).
I think they did something different and I like that.
It's not the BEST album in the world, but it's A LOT better than a majority of 'rock' albums that are mainstream these days.

I think both are good in their own ways. I prefer Kerplunk and Insomniac to 21st Century Breakdown but I think they really pushed themselves to be better musicians with this new album. It's kind of poppy, kind of different... but hey, the guys have a fuckin' American Idiot musical. They're mainstream and won't ever look back.

the OLD green day is good but i have to say that 21st Century Breakdown is SOO much better than American Idiot.
Eh yeah i kinda agree, its just that they were better, so were their songs back then, well im sorry green day but it is kinda crap.
