Chapter 35
Later,in the tour bus,Frank and Christina were sitting on the couch talking,Mikey was riding with Samantha in her car behind us (Mikey had told me that they were dating now),Ray was in the back,either f***ing around with one of his guitars or using the computer,while me and Jess were in our bunk snuggling.
“Tell Jessie that I'm in love with Chrissy!”Frank thought towards me. “And tell her she's amazing!”
“Frank says that you're amazing and that he's in love with Christina.”I muttered before closing my eyes and leaning in to kissing her lips.I felt her tongue on my lower lip,so I made mine meet hers;this isn't the first time this has happened.My hands were wrapped around her back and her's were knotted in my hair;which has been cut short.I had moaned a little when Ray's guitar playing stopped.
“Really guys?”He mumbled from the back. “Now?Jesus...”He got back to playing before either of us could answer.I looked at Jess,who shrugged then got back to kissing me.There was someone pulling on our curtain.
“What?”I asked.
“Where's she gonna sleep?”Frank asked,as he pulled the curtain back and pointed at Christina.
“She can sleep with you Frank.”Jay muttered and felt his face then brought her hand back to my hair.
“I'm cool with that.How about you Frankie?”Christina asked.
“Yeah,that's fine.”I could see in his thoughts how freaking happy he was that this was happening. “F*** YES!F*** YES!WOOO!”He thought happily.
“Natta.”Jessie mumbled against my lips.
“The hell?”Her 'sister' asked.
“'Natta'?What's natta?”Frank asked.
“'Natta' means 'night' in Norwegian.”Jess mumbled again.
“Oh...well,natta guys.”Frank said and brought Chrissy to his-I mean their-bunk.
I woke up to see Jessie with her head sitting on my chest.She was just staring at me,like she was waiting for me to wake up.
“Morning Gee.”She smiled.
“Good morning Sunshine.”I smiled back at her when we both jumped at the sound of Ray's snoring.She giggled then blushed before blowing the few long-ish strands of hair out of my face. “Thanks.”The grin on my face got wider.I heard the bus doors open out in the front and Jessie was getting hungry,so we went out to find Samantha and Mikey sitting together on the couch,but Sam was in Mikey's lap.
“Heeeeeeeeey.”She giggled.Mikey waved to us and nuzzled his face on her cheek.
“Hi guys.”I smiled at them and joined Jay on the couch where she was eating a cinnamon bun.She held it out to me and I took a small bite.Jessie had turned on the T.V and was watching FUSE when the 'I'm Not Okay' video came on.
“Awesome!”Jessie giggled as she hugged me close.I laid my head on her shoulder and sang along with our song.
Chapter 36
We had the day off,so I decided to take a quick 'walk' around town.There was a huge park and it had a hidden area that looked like no one had been there for years.I wandered around it a bit then went back to the bus to get my human.
“Hey Jess!”I called when I pulled open the doors of the bus and climbed on. “Where are you?”She wasn't in the 'living room' area of the bus and wasn't asleep or in the back....
“In here!”She called from the bathroom. “I just took a shower.”She was brushing out her hair when I came in.
“I wanna show you something...”I grinned at her.
She raised an eyebrow at me. “Can I dry my hair?”
“Sure.Want me to help?”I picked up the hairdryer and took the brush out of her hand.
“Well,now that you have everything I need...”Her voice trailed off and she rolled her eyes.
“Flip.”I commanded her and she flipped her head upside-down so that her hair was hanging over her head.I dried it quicker than she would have and made it fluffier too. “Okay,you're done.”She flipped her hair back over and smoothed it down a little.
“So,what is it that you wanted to show me?”She followed me outside then took my hand.
“We have to walk there...I'll carry you if you want.”I chuckled.
“OR you can give me a piggy-back ride.”She laughed with me.
“That sounds like a fun idea.”I bent down so she could climb onto my back.I stood up once I was sure she wouldn't fall and started walking.
When we got to the park,I set her down and wrapped my arm around her waist.Jessie did the same,but laid her head on my shoulder.We walked around the park a few times before I took her to the secret area I found.There were some rocks and logs pushed together to make a bench,so we sat down.
“How did you find this place ?”Jay asked me after a minute.
“I dunno;I was just wandering around and found it.”I shrugged.We sat there staring at each other for a minute. “Tell me more about what you used to do when you were younger.”I finally said after five minutes of silence.
“Okay,well,I used to dance and play lots of music-based video games.Um..I sang and played guitar and I was in drama club from seventh grade all the way through high school.”She smiled at me.
“You used to dance?”
“Yeah...I think I might be able to make up something on the spot,if you want to see me dance.”Jess stood up from where she sat.
“Oh hell yeah!Here,want some music?”I asked,pulling out my iPod.
“Sure.Play whatever you want.”I started scrolling through my songs when I came across 'Beat It' by Michael Jackson.I played it and she immediately started dancing to it.
“Damn,you're pretty good!”I laughed.She giggled while she danced and sang along with one of her favorite songs.All of a sudden,we heard the leaves of the bushes rustling and knew someone was coming.Jay ran over to me and sat in my lap with her arms wrapped around my neck.We could hear them laughing and joking around.The group finally came through the bushes and stopped to stare at us.
“Jessie?Gerard?How the hell did you find the Old Spot?”
Chapter 37
“Syn?Johnny?What are you guys doing here?”I asked them.
“And where's Zacky and Matt?”Jessie added.
“No f***in' clue...now,how did you find the Old Spot?”Synyster Gates asked us again.I noticed that they both had beers in their hands.
“I was wandering around town and found the park...then I came across this spot here.”I answered them.
“Alright...Matt didn't tell you where it was Jess?”Johnny asked her.
“Nope.I didn't even know about it until Gee brought me here.”She stuck her tongue out at them.
“This is the first time I actually got good and drunk here...with Jimmy,”Syn started while we sat there with them. “And I can just remember hearing my mom off in the f***ing far distance, 'BRRRAAAIIINNNN!'”We all laughed at his impersonation of his mom;his voice was all crackly and high-pitched.
“Thanks for leaving us guys-Jay?The hell are you doing here?!”Matt said as he came through the bushes.He came over to where we sat on the rock;I released Jessie so she could hug her cousin.
“Spending my day off from touring with Gerard...and you guys now,I guess.”She smiled.
“Nice..nice.”Zacky took a long drink from his beer and shook his head.
“Jess...we might wanna get back.”I whispered in her ear.She sighed then took my hand and stood up.
“We have to get back to the bus...hopefully we run into each other before the wedding.”She hugged them all with her free arm.
“You had better see me before the wedding,bitch.”Matt leaned down and kissed her cheek before hugging her again.
“I'm sure we'll run into each other again.Love you guys!”Jess waved to them as we made our way through the bushes.
“Wow,I wasn't expecting to see them!”Jay giggled as she jumped on my back again.
“Neither was I...but it was fun to see them for a little while.”I replied.I hadn't even gotten to the sidewalk before Zacky came running over to us.
“Missing something?”He held out my ipod.
“Thanks Zacky.It must've fallen out of my pocket.”We waved good bye to him and continued towards the bus.
“Hey guys.”Ryan greeted us when Jay and I walked in.He was sitting in the booth-thing that was across from the kitchen area on the bus.He had a root beer in his hand and his laptop was sitting in front of him;He's bored,according to his thoughts.
“Whatcha watchin'?”Jessie wondered as she sat down next to him.He had a video open on Youtube.
“Jenna Marbles....”He muttered as he stuck his headphones in;He was expecting her to laugh at him.
“Give me a headphone!I love her videos!”She laughed as she watched with Ryan.I went to find Frank or Mikey so we could practice a little before tomorrow.The next town we were going to was Samantha's home town.She said she was gonna drop off her car and get some of her stuff while we were playing.
“Jess,tomorrow are you gonna help Sam get her stuff after you play?”I asked before turning to look at her.What the hell....where were Frank and Mikey?I knew Ray was out looking for candy or something...
“Where is everybody?”I came back out from the back of the bus and sat down across from them.
“Mikey,Frank,and the girls went to a movie...they should be back pretty soon.”Ryan answered after he finished laughing.
Chapter 38
A little while after we got back,Ray walked in with a bag under his arm.
“What did you get?”I asked as he put the bag down on the counter. “It looks like there's a lot of stuff.”
“I bought some stuff for everyone...that's why this things full.”He smirked then looked around. “Jay!”He called.
“Hi Ray!What's up?”She asked,rolling out of the bunk and landing on her feet.
“Here,”He tossed her a bag of fireballs,her favorite candy. “Wait,there's a little more.”He tossed her another bag.
“Thanks Ray!I love you!”Jessie ran over to him and gave him a huge hug before kissing his cheek and going back to her computer;she was skyping one of her friends.
“You're welcome!”He smiled and tossed me a bag of gummy bears. “I know you like those Gerard.Don't deny it!”Ray started giggling as he went to give Ryan some candy.
“I never have!”I shook my head and opened the bag...hmmm.I wonder what these would taste like after I hunted...I shoved a handful of them into my mouth when Jess came out carrying her laptop.
“Gee,say hi to Kendall!”She giggled as Kendall,one of her friends from middle/high school,waved at me.
“Hey Kendall!”I waved back as she laughed.
“Hiya Gerard!”She replied before Jessie to the computer back to the bunk.
~THE NEXT DAY~
“How're you guys doin' tonight?”Jay asked the crowd of fans at the opening of the show;they screamed in response. “Now,as most of you must know,not only am I touring with My Chem,but some of my friends are too.Sadly one of them has a sore throat and the other is taking care of her,so I'll be singing a few songs with...”She let her voice trail off as I walked on stage.I heard a few of the Killjoys in the crowd scream 'Geezy' which made me giggle a little.My official new nickname,hehe.
“And what exactly are we singing,Jay?”I asked her,as I didn't know what the hell she had planned.
“How about 'Fall For You'?”She cocked her head to the side and winked;she knew that that was one of our 'theme songs',I guess you could say.
She started to play her guitar and looked over,wanting me to start the song.
“'Best thing 'bout tonight's that we're not fightning...”
“'Could it be that we have been this way before...”She continued.
