I sat up,dazed and confused. Where the hell am I?
I looked around,then let my hands wander until they bumped into something.
That something started to move and make noise.
“Jessie...?What are you doing awake?”Gerard muttered,still half asleep.
IT WAS ONLY A DREAM!THE OTHERS ARE STILL ALIVE! I rejoiced in my head.
“It wasn't real!”I leaned on top of Gee's chest and kissed his surprised lips.He put his arms around my waist and sat me so that I was fully on top of him.He pushed me away a little so he could talk.
“What are you talking about?”Gerard brushed my bangs behind my ear. “What wasn't real?”
“The dream...Korse wasn't killed by the bombs...then he caught me and killed Chrissy and five of the others....”Gerard pulled me to him,expecting that I might break down and cry. “I'm okay,Gee.Really,I am...I think I cried myself out in the dream....Korse killed them right before my eyes.”
“Do you think you should rethink your plan...just a little?”He raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah...”Then it came to me. “The hole in the wall...that would be perfect!”I smiled hugely.
“Is that how Radio Destroya saved you?”Party asked.
“Mmhhmm.”I nodded and nestled my head into his neck. “That's how I planned on getting us outta there.”
“Oh...how far does the tunnel go?”
“It goes to the back of the HQ...past the control room and through the lobby.”I propped myself up on my elbow. “Your not thinking we should put bombs in the WHOLE tunnel,are you?”
“Well...I think you should plant the bombs,get the hell out of there,THEN set them off.”He hugged me to him for a second.
“Hmmm...”I thought for a minute. “That does sound like a good plan...I need to sleep on it.”I snuggled closer to Party Poison and fell asleep again.
“How does that sound?”I asked my bomb squad.
“I like it.”Detonation Druggy said over the radio;she had gone back to get some stuff she needed and she was going to bring back Bandit Blaster,Radioactive Sunshine,and Radio Destroya.
“Alright.Then it's-”I was cut off by someone on the other end.
“Lightning Strike?It's Hyper-Active Girl,what were you going on about?”She wondered.
“We're bombing the BL/Ind headquarters.Did you hear the plan?”
“I heard most of it.Can I come to your HQ?You can tell me again then.”With that she was gone.
“Alright...Druggy,when are you coming back?”I sat there for a moment.
“I should be there by night fall.”She replied.
“See you then.Keep your gun close.”
“You too.”I put the radio down and went to the front room.Wolf Girl was showing Fun Ghoul how to do some contortion tricks,Kobra Kid was talking with Music Junkie,Jet Star,and Punk Flame,Death Pony was drawing Party Poison,and I think Wild One was sleeping.I went to go watch Taylor and Frank outside.I heard Frank scream,and when I found them,he was ling face down in the sand.
“What did he do?”I asked as I helped him up.
“Well,Ghoul was trying to flip....but he,um...kinda failed.”Wolf Girl laughed.
“That hurt...”Frankie hugged me as we laughed.
“Want me to teach you some tricks?”Taylor wiggled her fingers playfully at me and laughed as she gave me a hug.
“Nah,I'm good.”I hugged her back and gave Frank a hug.Just then,a car came screeching to a hault in front of the diner.I recognized it by the desgins all over it.
