Song Writing Advice Please?

Even though I write songs sometimes, I never think they're that good. None of them have a real meaning, accept to have words on a paper being sung. They're just pointless noise, even if it can slightly connect with me. None of my writing has ever had a deep connection to me, and I know your all probably going to go: Well duh, just dig deep and write it on paper.
But I don't think it's that easy. I want something that means something to OTHERS as well. I want to be in a band, hell yeah. It's one of my biggest dreams. But....I just, it can't be just a normal band that people think the songs are good, yeah they'd have them on their iPods, but they wouldn't hold MEANING to the person. I want to change peoples lives, make them better. I want them to feel special when they listen to it, like the song was written for them.
I don't know, I just want to be able to get to people. And so, I was wondering, can I have song writing advice? And give true, personal advice. I really would appreciate it, from all of you.
