TO EVERY ENEMY's picture

This is probably my favorite video they've ever done. So many emotions come from this.

This is probably my all time favorite music video MCR has ever done. It just...its so REAL, so raw. It shows the seriousness of war and how truly violent it is, how scary. Though no video can ever capture the real intensity of war, or the real pain of losing a loved one, it comes pretty close.
This videos really personal to me, considering how over half of my family has been in the military. My great uncle was a general stationed in Germany, both of my grandfathers from either sides of the family were in the army, my GREAT grandfather was in the army (the other, on my dads side, was in the Intelligence sect of the military in WWII. He translated and decoded documents intercepted from Germany), and my uncle Luke was in the army. My family was so lucky, because when my uncle was in the army, his troop was supposed to be one of the ones that went on Desert Storm, but at the VERY LAST minute, their troop was called down and he didn't have to go.
But the most emotional story about the army, is my cousin Will. He signed up for the army, was accepted, and went through training. However, later on he had a severe panic/anxiety attack, and ended up hospitalized. The government decided that they would relieve him of his duties, so he isn't in the army any more.
I've thought about being in the army before, not to fight for my country, really, but to defend the other soldiers that are fighting with me. I want to save lives, and this would just be another way to do that. I want to help people, keep them safe. I don't know if I'd be tough enough, but I could try.
