Love songs

On the radio, it seems there's always songs about love or breakups or partying to 'get some love.' I don't really have a problem with love songs, but I just feel like if there's too many in the world, then they won't even mean anything anymore. A song should have a story or feeling behind it. Nowadays, it seems a lot of popular musicians are just writing the generic words of love on paper, like: I can't live without you, you light up my world.
Those words seem not to be aimed at anyone. They don't mean anything.
I just want people to recognize the fact that music is precious, its beautiful, and its out in the open for everyone to enjoy. But it should MEAN something. It shouldn't just be an outlet to make money.
When you're writing a love song, I feel like, to make it mean something special, you have to take time to think of one person that you really love. Not just like, not just: oh hey, me and this person would be good together, someone you TRULY love. Someone you'd tell everything to. Someone who makes you honestly happy just by smiling at you. You don't even have to know them well. Who ever said you had to know a person inside and out to fall in love? Scientists have even study the hormones and thoughts in a human person saying that you honestly only need to know a person for about 5 minutes before you 'fall in love with them.' I don't think love has anything to do with science, but whatever. They're statistics. They help xP
Love is a weird, temperamental emotion. I'm young, I haven't experienced true love yet. I'm still waiting. But I have the feeling that I'll know it when I fall for someone. And I'm probably gonna be a huge wuss and I'm not gonna know how to tell that person.
Maybe I'll write a love song. One that actually means something. <3

You're all amazing. Sorry for my random, huge rant that probably is just a bunch of rambling :P
