The walls bled as the fire rose around me. Surrounded in darkness, I could only hear the sound of distant cries and screams. “I'm coming! I am here! Don't worry!” I tried to scream out but only could mouth the words with no voice. I ran through the burning tar that clung to my feet slowing all my movements. “You can't save them, they will die... its your fault, HAHAHAHA” a menacing voice echoed. “Help us please! AHHHHH!” The screams were silenced as the black tar rose around me.
I opened my eyes, my body hot and covered in sweat. Thats when I noticed that I wasn't the only one in my bed. “What?” I pushed the blanket off me. With her arm over me her face buried into my side I seen, “VIOLET SKY!?” I yelled in surprise.
“Shhh, neon.. go back to bed... or do I have to wear you out again...” she was still asleep smiling, dreaming about being with her lost love.
I shook her awake, “Umm, Violet... Violet....”
“Oh baby, what is it I was sleeping so well...” She said as she opened her blurry eyes, thats when she noticed me.
“WHAT THE FUCK!! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY BED ASSHOLE!!” She kicked me off the mattress and onto the cold cement dirt covered floor.
“YOUR BED! YOUR BED IS IN YOUR ROOM!” I yelled at her as I got up from the floor covering myself.
Thats when she noticed my sleeping habit.. She blushed bright red and screamed, “PUT ON SOME FUCKING CLOTHES YOU SICK BASTARD!” She ran off to her room wrapping the blanket around her. I wasn't the only one with this sleeping habit..
“What the hell was that all about..” Electric Night said coming out of his room, he was at least wearing pants though, still also wearing that bandanna over his face.
“WA HA HA HA HA HA!! DAMN IT NEW GUY! THATS THE FUNNIEST SHIT I EVER SEEN!” Electric Night incredibly amused by my situation, but I think he was laughing more at the unicorn tattoo on my ass.
“FUCKIN' AYE!” I said turning around and putting my pants on.
“AND ANOTHER THING!” Violet Sky said coming out still only wrapped in the blanket that she took from my bed. But as soon as she turned and noticed Electric Night standing their she turned red again and ran back to her room.
“Well, this is quite possibly the best fucking morning ever.” He said gesturing. “Lets get some breakfast, I hope you like Power pup.”
“Actually... I prefer eggs and bacon..” I said to myself but he over heard me.
“What the fuck is bacon?” Electric Night looked at me confused.
I just turned and looked at him like, 'really', but I decided not to pursue it. “Um... Actually... I think I'd rather eat my boots...” I said in disgust. I mean its not like I haven't eaten the shit before, but I really preferred actual food.
“Suit yourself,” Electric Night said taking out a can and a large cleaver chopping the can in half with swift chop that left the cleaver stuck into the wood counter.
I let out a deep sigh as I sat back down onto the mattress that was pulled out for me. I put on my boots and tightened them up, stuffing the strings down into them. This was going to be a loooong fucking day, I already knew it.
