my cable was turned off so we only had a few channels & i watched nbc for four days straight. olympics overload. but im really into it now & i have to make some confessions.
0. Romney was right & i think everyone knows that London is not ready for the olympics. the security wasnt even together. & we all know that the British government wasnt able to afford them. I honestly think the olympics should be canceled until every country isnt in a fucking huge recession.
1. im a huge Michael Phelps fan now & i get really pissed every time he doesnt come in first.
2. i mostly watch Olympic events to make fun of the athletes facial expressions when the cameras focus on their faces. my favorite is Michael Phelps because his face is priceless every time he doesnt come in first :O, :O, :O
3. i often turn my ipod up really loud so i cant hear whats actually being said & make up conversations based on body language & facial expressions
4. i think Tom Daley should be a modern Peter Pan instead of a diver.
5. it pisses me off that Daley didnt finish his 4 1/2 somersaults & nobody even notices b/c they're too busy being stupid.
6. i root for any team except for the americans & china. the exceptions are Phelps & Misty & Kerri
7. I never knew that the Mexican divivng teams are really fucking good
8. i dont realize that French is being spoken until after its done being spoken b/c my brain automatically translates it & then i get pissed b/c i dont know why everything is being said twice
9. i think that Russian female gymnasts > american female gymnasts
10. im really hoping a Russian female gymnast will win gold in the all-around
11. even though i always root for other teams i still want the americans to win the medal count
12. i think british athletes are pretty fail for only having 4 medals (as of the last medal count) & i heard they finally got a gold today. FAIL.
13. i dont think i'll ever be able to take "Keep Calm & Carry On" seriously again.
14. the video of the GBR diving team dancing to Sexy & I Know It. is a massive waste of time & maybe if they dived more instead of making it they would win more synchro medals.
15. i still am only an hour into the opening ceremonies
16. i think the athletes that are bitching about not being able to do sponsorships during the olympics are well... ungrateful bitches. tons of people dont even have a job & gave up on their dreams half way through high school. how dare they even complain.
17. i've noticed that nbc really likes to be behind divers after they get out of the water & i've seen half of every diver they featured ass.
18. i've seen every girl's ass in my school who has been on a sports team with me. so i dont really give a fuck about nbc's "creative cinematography"
19. i cant wait for the olympics to be over
20. i cant wait for the primetime showing of the olympic events later on today.
21. San Fran should host the olympics. :)
