Question:

What are some things that MCR have taught us? To be accepting of fans? Not to be violent? Not to be elitist? That nobody is better than anybody else? We're all equal? So why are so many people posting blogs about being a "real" fan?

It really bothers me when people say "real" or "true" fan. If you like the music, you're a fan. It doesn't matter if you've listened for 10 minutes or 10 years. It doesn't matter if you have only heard one song or if you know the lyrics to every single song. If you like the sound, you're a fan.

Just because you know all the lyrics to all the songs or know all the band member's names does not make you better than anybody else, and if you think for a minute that you're better than anybody else for being "true" or "real"... well, that's just dumb.
