My Chemical Romance 31 Day Challenge- Day 7: Favourite song from ‘The Black Parade’, and why?

As I said on day four because it was the first album I was exposed and listened to fully, ‘The Black Parade’ is my favourite album. So of course I would have to say that narrowing down all the songs to come up with my favourites is hard. ‘The Black Parade’ was also the first My Chemical Romance album that saved my life and I have never forgotten which songs impacted me the most. Even though I love all the song I am choosing my favourites based on how they impacted me. So here we go my favourite songs from ‘The Black Parade’:
1. Famous Last Words: This was the My Chemical Romance song that saved my life the first time and it was as simple as me just searching through YouTube one day and finding this song. It was the title that first made me want to listen to the song and as soon as I saw the defeated My Chemical Romance on the screen I was drawn in. The sudden beginning which rapidly grows in intensity is incredible and represents to fighting spirit of the band and the fighting spirit of the fans. “I am not afraid to keep on living I am not afraid to walk this world alone Honey if you stay, I’ll be forgiven Nothing you can say can stop me going home”.
2. Disenchanted: I cry or at least tear up every time I hear this song especial when the line: “I spent my high school career Spit on and shoved to agree”. It is so emotion and beautiful at the same time.
3. Welcome To The Black Parade: What can I say about this song? Oh I know:
“When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.

He said, “Son when you grow up,
Would you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?”
He said “Will you defeat them,
Your, demons, and all the non-believers,
The plans that they have made?”
“Because one day I’ll leave you,
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join The Black Parade.”
Well that’s it for today, see you guys tomorrow I’m off you bed, I’m so tired.
