Hey guys!! So I’ve been falling in love over the past few months with the beautiful hairstyles you see on emo/ scene girls. I’m still working on making it awesome—had my first successful attempt at it yesterday—but it got me thinking… You know how Gee and the others are not fans at all of the emo label? I mean, it was Gee who said “emo is bullshit” or something like that, right? Well that’s kind of why I’ve avoided using that label, but… I actually like it. I like it for myself. And I get it that it’s not something a lot of you like or something that the guys like, but I still like it. And I just realized that’s okay. I don’t think I have to change all my opinions just to conform with the Guys. I think I’d be missing the actual message of their music if I did that. It would be superficial, I think, and it would be letting myself get brainwashed by the very people trying to protect me from getting brainwashed. They don’t like to be labeled as emo, they don’t feel it fits them (honestly, it doesn’t), and that’s okay, too. There’s no reason to share identities when we can all have one of our very own. So… I’M KIND’VE A FRANKING EMO. And I like it that way. ;)
