Took my 14-year old sister to her first concert!

I took my 14 year old sister and her 12 year old friend to their first concert last night!

It was Runner Runner, Yellowcard, and Good Charlotte.

My sister has been a fan of GC for a while, so I figured since they were coming to the area, why not let them be her first concert!

We were in the pit, closer to the front of the stage and right in the front of center stage. Can you believe a 12 and 14 year old lasted through three bands in the middle of the pit with moshers and crowd surfers?! I'm so proud of them!! My sister even started bleeding because of a bug bite during Yellowcard and STILL stuck it out!

Afterwards, we went out back and got to meet the drummer, bassist and lead singer of Yellowcard and got their signatures. And we also got to meet Joel Madden (who was the sweetest guy ever =P)! He was so excited that this was their first concert and was really appreciative of his fans!

I'm so happy that my sister and her friend had such an amazing first concert experience! I hope that everyone who hasn't been to a concert yet gets an experience like they had =D
