im entering a poetry contest and im entering this. its a dark poem about bullying in school written in code of a zoo. "me" is the victim, the zoo keepers are teachers, the zoo animals are the bullies, and the children are the bystanders enjoying the bullying. tell me what you think!!!

A Zoo Life
Strong wind,
Whistling wind,
Whispering all secrets.
The things I know.
The things I don't know.
Salty waves form
Because of the wind.
The animals in the zoo
Aren't very nice.
They're with the wind
And I'm with the ocean.
Who's left?
The zookeepers.
What's their place?
They just keep us safe,
Not caring about what we do.
I guess you could say they're the fences
That surround us.
And the children that come to see us?
Where are they?
They stand by and watch
While we rot in cages
And habitats we want to escape.
The zoo animals.
The zookeepers.
The thrilled children.
And me.
One big cycle we have
Of watching each other,
Laughing at the other,
And standing by
While taking pity.
Salty waves flood my pen.
While the children watch.
While the zoo animals laugh.
While the zoo keepers do nothing.
I'd rather have a drought.
They'd rather watch me drown.
