Rant Part 4

Hello everybody. Today, I'm going over some more rants today. I'm gonna talk about my home state; California. I know there are some good things about it, but some bad things. Let me get some things straight first off, alright. I was reading an article about California vs. Texas. Some things were positive about California (obviously a Californian), but as I read some comments, there was something I wanted to discuss.

1. I know about the smog thing. The only reason is that the gas and oil that we have is polluting the air, but we're making electrical cars to help prevent that and a smog check to see if the cars we drive are polluted or something. Before, when I was ten, I barely saw the sky, which was a yucky greenish bluish color. Now because of the electrical cars, I can see it better.

2. Yes, we don't have an English speaking Governor, but who doesn't? At least our Governor is at least solving our budget problem. And I know about the taxes and the cuts on everybody's job, but it's how we consume money. The state is trying to get money right now and it's very hard.

3. For some reason, people forget, or choose to ignore, that we have almost everything that everybody needs. Google searches, YouTube, microchips, freeways, extreme sports, energy efficiency, health clubs, iPhones, and the Hollywood vision of success. We even invented blue jeans.

4. What I don't get is the stereotypes. I know I've said this before, but we're really not all that bad. Sure, we use guns to protect ourselves, but that's what we do. The police in New York probably doesn't know what to do when something huge is happening (I could be wrong), but here in LA, the police knows what to do. They're freaking armed for fucks sake. Anyway, people here in California are not, I repeat, NOT blonde. No matter how many times I say it no one understands it.

5. Yes, I know half of everybody in California speaks Spanish, but that's not all we speak. We have Japanese people who speak Japanese. We was Chinese people who speak Chinese. We have a lot of authentic groups who speak different languages, so Spanish is not the only language we speak. The only reason Spanish is probably a second or first language to others is because we have Latinos here in California.
