frank didn't say anything like that, also they are working on a new album. so they are not over.
but i am excited for the old songs. i've a heard a few, and to be honest, liked them better then the stuff on DD. i mean its not that i didn't like the stuff on danger days, because i did. i just mcr love it, if you get what i mean. i think i liked the idea behind it more then the music itself. i hope they release a good recording of the world is ugly and kiss the ring. i really really really hope.
i don't get why frank thought, or idk maybe even the rest of the band thought mcr would end at the black parade. it was a great and epic aldum, but it was no stadium arcadium. I'm going to compair rhcp and mcr right now, like how they both came back with new aldums. rhcp's aldum was okay, but not as good as stadium, but it was like a classic red hot aldum, which was boring. mcr then came out with DD, which was good, not better then the black parade, maybe just as good in retrospect, but it didn't give me that feeling like the parade did, but still sticking with the compairison, the aldum was different, which at least still made me interested in it. so, to me, it was like "man if they ended with famous last words as the last song you'd heard by them, it would have been great, this new aldum is a terrible" but more of a "no amazing, but good, keep going". so yeah. i don't get why frank felt that way?
i mean, the more i listen to any of their aldums the less good they sound. i dont know why, but the guitars sound simple, but not in a good way, gerard sounds like he's not even in like the same planet while singing, like the voice and the music are to seperate, and the drumming is simple too. i don't know, i just use to think their music was amazing, but the last time i listened to them, it was almost like, okay turn it off now. the only aldum im really not second guessing is bullets and a few song from other ones, like cemetary and jet set is good, i don't love you, cancer, tbp and famous last words is good, and off the new album, only hope, save yourself and money. all the rest i wont even listen a quarter of the way into anymore. it's very sad.
