How am I functioning?!

I'm a night owl, there's no denying it, actually the only camp program I can go to and live through is Nigh Owl camp. Anyways, during the school year I normally stay up from 12 to 2 in the morning then get up around 7. So normally 5 hours of sleep is what I run on during school. I know not healthy but it works, (when you have insomnia you work with what you've got) So obviously I use weekends to catch up on sleep, but now that Summer is here and Schools out (Forever? I wish) I've been staying up til 10 am then sleeping til 4 pm. (I really should just become nocturnal, it'd fix everything!) Well last night I stayed up til 5 then got up at noon. I'm dying here, how do I function during the school year?
So rather than complaining the entire time, let's change the topic and make it more fun! So I've been writing a lot lately (aspiring author) and I think I'm doing rather well but I think I want to make major changes, so that's good I guess. Hm what else (this really has become a general update hasn't it?) What else? I've got a virus, because my immue system is so talented at being weak that I'm sick in the bloody summer.
So for the final part of this update (it's better I promise) I found a mikey way bass on ebay for only $200 and I'm $150 and have one day to find $150, any ideas anybody?
