Hey :) I haven't posted a chapter in ages, so here's one for whoever cares

Gerard: Okay, that was not what I was expecting. I still didn't like this 'Sinead' girl, though, and I could tell from Ray's protective/concerned looks and the fact that Mikey was almost drooling, that I was the only one who thought that. Everything was quiet after Mikey introduced himself, so, to break this awkward silence... "I'm Gerard, and if you're gonna live here, you better stay out of my fucking room". Then I got up and walked out. God, I hated strangers, and the fact that I hated a teenage girl for the simple fact that I didn't know her, made me depressed. I need some Xanex.....
"Gerard!" I heard Ray's voice fom behind me, "What the fuck was that about!". I turned around slowly, "I don't want that person in my room, whats wrong with that?"
"Nothing! But you didn't have to be so fucking rude about it! She's probably in there now wondering why you hate her, and she doesn't need that with all the shit she's going through. Her mom just died and she got shipped here before she could go to the funeral and you're really not helping by snapping at her the first time you see her."
I didn't know her mom died! Shit, I'm such a terrible person! I really, really needed some Xanex, so instead of facing Ray, I turned around, and went to my room.
Ray: Gerard is so clueless sometimes! I can't believe he did that! Well.... I suppose I can, I mean, it's Gerard after all. I was still thinking when I walked back in the room to find Mikey nervously chatting to Sinead. "So, um, do you play any sports? (Mikey is such a dork)
Sinead's eyes lit up " Yeah! I play Camogie, Gaelic football and handball, do you play anything? What sports do they even have in America? Well, besides baseball."
That's when I butted in. "Lot's, but what I really want to know is,do you play any instruments? You seem to like the right kind of music", I said, nodding to her Metallica t-shirt. "Also, what the fuck is Gay-lick? Because it sounds really weird."
She looked at me and laughed. "Gaelic football is an Irish sport, and I play the keyboard and the bass, but I had to leave them in Ireland...."
I couldn't believe that! How could she leave an INSTRUMENT behind! " Woah! You left them in Ireland?!?" I was about to start asking questions, but then I realised that that could bring back memories of her mom, so I just said "I think we might have to fix that."
Then Mikey popped in with " Yeah, and then maybe you could teach me the bass".
The look of joy on her face was priceless.

The way I portrayed Sinead in this chapter is sort of different to the way I usually do, I hope it's still okay to read. Please tell me what yous think :)
