"We should probably start of with the most basic rules about vampires" Gerard said, "Like Frank said sunlight will kill us but only after a few hours so if you get caught in it for minutes you'll be fine but we don't like the sunlight anyway. We don't age so your gonna be a teenager forever, all that crap about turning into bats and sleeping in coffins is bullshit, we don't do that, so is the whole garlic and holy water thing. A stake through the heart will kill us but so will fire or a gun. We do have to be invited inside or else we can't get in but that doesn't work for here because no one lives here. We are super fast and strong, we heal almost instantly and have improved eye sight and hearing. You have to drink human blood, it can't be animal blood like in all those TVs shows and movies now but we don't kill when we feed. We don't just drink blood we need to eat normal food too but if you don't drink blood you will grow weaker and die." he explained, "Thats just the basic's theres loads more that you need to learn but that will do for now, do you understand all that?" he asked, "Yeah" I answered. "Do werewolves exist?" I asked, "No" he laughed. We all just hung out for a while, it was day time so they didn't want to go out. I found out that we wenrn't in the same town anymore so there was no chance of our families finding us, the mansion was also in the middle of a forest so humans didn't come near it but we could run from there to a different town for food.
A few hours passed, Ray looked at his watch, "Its getting late, do you guys want to go out now?" he asked. Everyone agreed, "Do you want your hoodie back?" I asked Gerard as we walked out the door, "No you keep it" he replied. I looked around, they were right we were in the middle of a forest. Mikey, Ray and Frank ran away, within a few seconds they dissapeared. There was no way I'd be able to do that, I still felt like crap. Gerard laughed "thanks for waiting!" he shouted scarcasticaly after them, "I'll walk with you" he said to me. "Will I ever be able to do that?" I asked, "Yeah but not right now, your bodies still changing and you need to drink blood first" he answered. We found them again sitting on a rock, I could smell smoke "There's people camping just over there" Frank whispered. "Who should show Dawn what to do?" Gerard asked, "I think you should" Mikey replied "you know her better than all of us". We waited for some one to leave the camp, after awhile someone eventually did. It was a guy, he looked around 30 but I was glad he didn't look farmiliar. "Watch this" Gerard whispered as he snuck up behind him, he breathed on his face and he passed out. "Our breath can knock humans out" Mikey explained. Gerard bent down and bit his neck, I watched as the blood leaked out from the cut, "Dawn come and try this" he called.
