Please don't kill me but...

I'm not a fan of SWS's music, I did listen to some of their songs but I just don't like it, their a great band but I'm just not into that particular sound. I do however have a lot of respect for them and bands like OM&M or BMTH and AA because of what the stand for. But I've known about this whole $80 for a Kellin Quinn Meet & Greet thing for a few months now because some of my friends are going to the gig but people are only talking about it now, apparently you get posters of stuff with it (but if you're a a concert then you're most likely gonna buy merch anyway) but most band members come out after shows to meet fans. Like really $80 to stand next to him for 30 seconds for a picture? And it's not even the whole band. Justin Bieber actually charged 300 for one and I was like "Seriously? How much money do you want!?", but then again pop and rock are two completely different worlds. I know Kellin IS NOT Justin Bieber (so don't kill me) but most rock bands are in it to play shows for the sake of playing music and happily take pictures with fans before and after shows, I get that making albums isn't profitable anymore and apparently neither is touring so bands make their money from merch now, but their not in it for the money. Yes it is their job and you gotta make a living off it but they need the money to actually stay on tour and to keep making music so I have no problem paying like $25 (well euro for me) for a t-shirt (although at PTV I got a t-shirt, album and a wristband all for 30 euro...) but SWS are pretty big, so I'd imaging that they don't necessarily need to £80 from each fan Kellin meets at every show on the tour. Sure I'd love to meet my favourite band member and get a picture that isn't a crappy selfie while your surrounded by a huge crowd of fans but most people can't afford that, gigs are expensive you know. We all want to support our favourte bands but it costs 20/30 for a ticket (but the bigger the band and arena the more they cost, which is understandable), then there's the bus to the show which for me is another 20 (but that also depends on where you live), merch might come to around 25 depending on whatever you get, you're gonna be starving so you need food money and some people stay in a hotel for the night so we're talking about a lot of money here. Like I said I'm not a fan so obviously I can't say much here aside from the fact that it's unusual because most bands meet fans in their own free time without charge so it's making me wonder why he'd do that. So if you are an SWS fan I don't mean to disrespect Kellin or the rest of the band and by no means am I hating on them but it's not something that's common in in the rock/metal world so want to know what you guys think about it.
