So a few days ago we did a survey on class which basically consisted of a bunch of random questions and one of them was about music. Now I know that most people don't like what I like but in a class of 30 people I was the only person the said rock was their favourite type of music, the teacher referred to me as "The lone rocker" and I've grown to like being different (even if it did take a long fucking time to get to that point) but I just think it's weird how people just take whatever music is handed to them and that's it. I don't have a problem with pop or dance or whatever the fuck is played on the radio but does anyone else think it's boring just listening to them same stuff over and over again? That isn't the only music that exists, and there's defiantly songs with much more meaning than those ones. Like I said I don't have a problem with it but I always wonder why people don't branch out. I give all types of music a chance (rock just so happens to be my favourite) but most people judge other types of music for not being "mainstream" and it sucks and most of the time they haven't even heard one song. Why follow the crowd? Why listen to all the same stuff? Shouldn't people go out and try new things, they could discover that they love something they never thought they would. I don't know about you guys but I love trying to find new music. You know, made an identity for yourself rather than being a sheep. Or be the black one!! But who am I to preach about this, what ever floats your boat right?
