Hey killjoys really need to know your thought please :/

Hey all I have a question for you all. Well not really a question just an opinin. I have been dating this really great guy for 7 mothes. He is sweet and funny and everything im looking for in a guy. For the past 6 mothes he has not been working but is still looking for a job and living with friends. Threw the time we have been together we have cellibrated my birthday, christmas and today v-day. Every holiday I have given him a present and he has never given me anything. Is this normal Killjoys? I could really use your help please.
