So today is the 11th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, at first I totally forgot what day it was, until my geo class (1st period) when my teacher told us. I'm kinda mad that our school didn't say anything, like not even a little message during announcements. I even had to tell my friends at lunch it wasn't the 10th (cause they thought it was)! Sure we don't live the USA, but they should let people know! Anyways, he told us about it and even showed us a few videos, one was a speech from the presadent the day they happened, and another was a home video someone taped from her apartment, cause she could see them from her window! During this, I felt like crying! It was so sad! After that, the whole day I felt like crying. I still do! I don't even know why, I usually don't get that upset over this day, but for some reason, I did. I can't believe people decided to plan an attack to kill thousands of people; as Gerard said: "This world is dark!". I totally agree with that statement! I just, don't understand, how people can be so cruel! And I keep thinking of all the innocent people that had to lose their lives just because some people want to be evil! I'm also thinking of how Gerard actually saw all this, and saw everyone crying! And how Frank's mom was crying, and when he ran outside and all he saw was smoke! And how Mikey and Ray felt and what they were doing because the interviewer decided not to let them speak about what they were doing when it happened! (in the grammy museam interview) This day will never be forgotten, even I, who was 3, remember watching it and not understanding what it was. I even remeber drawing a picture of a plane crashing into a building! So today, I plan to replay Skylines and Turnstiles and watch 9/11 themed My Chem interviews! Bye!
